bla bla bla he is not the aplha, bla bla bla he is not the man, bla bla bla lebron james sucks, bla bla bla

get over it, he took less money to go where he felt he had the best chance to win a title, obviously he doesnt care about being the alpha dog so shut up already, the guy just wants to win! he is leaving millions on the table to win! he is not letting his ego get in the way to win!

im just glad the knicks are getting royally screwed! hahaha so glad new york is going to be in the shadows for even longer now. we just have to ensure they dont get carmelo or paul or anyone to compete! as long as la doesnt have a football team and the knicks suck im good, too bad the yankees cant suck cuz i hate them too.

I think it's the manner in which he left Cleveland. He's already hometown hero, and to hold a hour long press conference just to tell ur hometown ur leaving is classless. You guys hate on Kobe, but this was the most classless way to a handle free agency.

Next season hasnt even started and you claim the Cavs is now a lottery team?
I feel sorry for him, I also feel sorry for his teammates and all the fans who didnt bang his mum.
He gave up on his team while one or two of his teammates had sex with his mum....Ok, fair enough?

Yeah but he had to leave his team to and go to Dwade's team. And he couldn't get Bosh to join him in Cleveland. It might be a trivial thing to some but to me it detracts from his star power.

For a guy supposedly chasing the GOAT legacy, yeah it detracts from his legacy. I respect players more when they had to go through times and stick with it when they finally win their rings. Jumping ship to follow other superstars is not GOAT material to me.

Of course he doesn't care. He just wants to win those rings so people can get off his back about being ringless.

Because his supposed star power was suppose to be great enough that other will follow him to his team.

Why do people bring up the Allen/Garnett/Pierce thing like it's the same thing? Allen and Garnett went through their tough times and losing years. They weren't entering their prime like LBJ is. Different situation (to me).

Once again, the Celtic big 3 is a different situation. All 3 players went through their losing years and their prime years were slipping away. LBJ is entering his prime.

Why is it that Lebron couldn't get any of these players to come to Cleveland?

When I say "easy", I meant not carrying a team all on your shoulders anymore and have the team built around you. LBJ just wanted to follow his dream team buddies and "fit in". That's fine, but I thought he wanted to be considered a GOAT (not the animal).

He just made the NBA more boring. I like superstars to try beat other superstars, not join them.

    Yawn.

Do you think it was inevitable Cleveland would win a ring if he stayed?

Picture Jordan leaving Chicago before Pippen got there and decided he wanted to "join" Magic and Bird. It's silly. Not to mention the way he held a hour long press conference just to tell his hometown he'll be betraying them. Straight b**** MOVE!

that's more on him than anyone else....they gave him enough to finish with the best record in the league 2 seasons in a row.

don't disappear vs. Boston and maybe things turn out differently.

Let's see. When Jordan left the Bulls in 1993, they still were good enough to win 50+ games without him. Since Cleveland did such a great job putting talent around LeBron, how good do you expect them to be next year?

    Honestly no lol.

That team kept band aiding around Lebron, never coming with long term solutions.

If he stayed with Cleveland, the future looked to be about the same to me.

Would I have respected him more if he stayed in Clelveland and stayed on the ringless path? Maybe, but I wasn't a big LBJ fan to start with.

To me the best move for his legacy and also getting rings was Chicago. He would have been still alpha male but surrounded with promising young players like Rose.

Really, I have no dog in this hunt. But it's just my perception on all of this.

i don't expect them to be very good. i didn't say they were the flippin 93 Bulls. i'm not sure any team last season was as good as the 93 Bulls.

    Him?

Do I need a link to prove LBJ has a big ego and wants everybody to think he's the best/wants to be the best?

Isn't that 1 hour special proof enough of his ego?

IMHO, Lebron is good enough to win regular season games on his own. He's good enough to win playoff games on his own. He's not good enough to win every playoff series on his own though.

I am a lifelong Cavs fan, I've seen the games, and I already didn't have a good feeling during the Bulls series because Lebron had to have above average games just to beat them. I won't excuse the act in Boston, but if they won that series it would be LBJ doing most of it himself. Look at what kind of effort he had to put up in game 3 (I think?). That was a once in a season type of performance.

And yet he goes to the Heat where he'll sacrifice personal stats, his chance at the "GOAT legacy", and guaranteed money. Out of the teams contending for him in free agency, Miami was just about the last place to go to if he wanted to be the "man" and chase that legacy. Apparently, he doesn't care about it that much.
