Before they turned up Cavs won 50 and 45 games in 2006-2007 and 2007-2008, the year Mo Williams joined the Cavs they won 66 games, then it was last year they won 61 games. Ok I heard ya, James is the best player, but without those names you mentioned theres no way the cavs win over 50 games in the past two years.

You just cant take anything away from anyone on that cavs team.

Easy to say when the Kobe's and Duncan's of the world are in the penthouse already. Kobe's in LA where attracting talent is no problem and Duncan has one of the shrewdest front offices in the league assembling these pieces. Can't say the same about Cleveland or their front office (it'd be another story if they uncovered hidden gems like Manu or Parker waiting in the wings).

I didn't say the cast was piss-poor, just mediocre and nothing special. Look at the overall talent on a LA, Orlando, or Boston and it's not even close.

oh, so in 2006-2007 their supporting cast was piss poor then?
    and 2007-2008?
They made the playoffs all because of the KING!
Care to explain how Mo Williams was such an impact player who increased Cavs winning record by 21?Oh no, its also the KING!

    Dude, get off Lebron's ****.

But it doesnt change the fact that it was a b**** move.
Point is, hes being an attention w**** the whole time, instead of keeping it low profile he went all out announced his decision on national TV, humilliated his fans and the cavs in front of everyone --- he deserves all the bash in the world, his betrayal to cavs fans and the city will not be forgotten.

How about you be objective and understand that the dude chose the best opportunity to win. Guess what, it's not in Cleveland and you're foolish if you think otherwise. I'm actually indifferent towards the guy, but can accept the fact that he did what's best for himself. He doesn't owe you nor anyone else anything more than he's already given.

Do you know the meaning of mediocre? It means ordinary and his supporting cast in Cleveland was exactly that - period. And yes, they did make the playoffs in 07 and 08 because of Lebron. Take Lebron off the 07 and 08 teams and those are lottery teams.

What's the point of winning a Championship if no one respects you for it? LeChoke will always have his jock sniffers, but the overwhelming majority of NBA fans will see this as a bush league move. LeChoke's popularity and respect just took a huge hit, and no amount of rings will bring it back.

No, but most "fans" are acting like little b****es because they're worried about what's forming in Miami

Well duh. Before Lebron got there they were in the lottery, and they lost so many games they got the number 1 pick.

Again let's see how the Cavs do this season without James. If they win 50+ games in the regular season I will admit I have been on Lebron's ****. But if they end up in the lottery you will admit you know absolutely nothing about the NBA.

I'm calling you out. Care to make a sig bet?

Mediocre, yes. Anyone who says otherwise is letting LeBaby hate get to them.

Look at the competition. Remove LeBron and you are left with Antawn Jamison, Mo Williams and coach Mike Brown.

You take the one best player off the real contenders and tell me you'd take that Cavs team over them.

No Pau Pierce? I'd still take Rondo, Ray Ray, Garnett, Nate, Pierce, etc.

No Kobe? Give me Gasol, Artest, Odom, Fisher, Bynum anyway.

And that's not even counting Mike Brown vs Doc or Phil.

'The Decision' is a b**** move, but that doesn't change the fact that the Cavs ownership was shoveling **** out there.

Shouldn't we wait and see if he wins and how he wins it? I mean, if he wins a championships as clearly his team's best player, averaging a triple-double in the playoffs, and dominating the NBA Finals -- you think he gets no respect because Dwyane Wade is his teammate? Doubtful.

I do agree that him winning a championship would mean more in Cleveland. Maybe he doesn't care as much about his legacy as the GOAT as we've been led to believe. Maybe he just wants to win. If so that's cool -- a player has a right to put himself in any situation that makes him happiest.

It's not that. At least not everyone who "b****es" about this whole thing is worried about the team they are forming. So don't just lump us all together. In fact, I am confident that the Rockets will be a better team than Miami this coming season.

I think most anger stems from the disappointment with these "stars." We expected them to act more like grown up warriors than big kids who wanted to band together with their buddies to bully on other kids. These kids have made the league so wussy and they seem to care only about their fame and nothing much about the fans.

People who are defending Lebron, discussing how Cleveland’s cast sucked, how they weren’t going to improve are completely missing the point behind this rage towards the b*stard.

The fact that he left Cleveland is not the reason that I am stunned. I expected it. His cast did suck; they were unlikely to improve, and so on and so forth. Lebron was justified in going to a team that he believed could help him win a ring.

But ends do not justify the means. The end of winning a championship does not justify the media circus, the milking of things, the complete eff you towards Cleveland and stringing along everyone for two years, the almost complete inability of Lebron James to realize that he was throwing a franchise to the wolves and who seemingly didn’t care. Not to mention I sincerely, sincerely believe now that this whole thing was a farce, that they planned this out years ago, and milked it because they are whores who wanted the world to bow to them for two months. This was a manipulative ploy by three insecure scumbags to become famous and recognized, regardless of what they had to drag through the dirt in order to get the worship which they craved so badly.

That is why this act is despicable. That is why I will root for the Lakers if they battle these whores. Cleveland’s supporting cast has absolutely nothing to do with this.

They tanked to get him and I remember the gm saying no one pays to see andre miller. U know what, lebron hasn't had a pg or player as good as andre miller. So what if they keep miller and wind up with wade, u never know. They tanked, live in a crappy city, he did al he could do and now he is gone.

Pippen won 6 titles. LeBron doesn't seem to be as concerned with this "legacy" talk as you do, so more power to him. He put his ego to the side to give himself a better chance to win. Create whatever reason to hate on that if you like, but realize that it doesn't make much sense and basically contradicts everything we teach our kids and knock stars for not doing.

I cant speak for others but for me it's not the fact that he left that annoyed me. He could have handled this is a less egotistical way and also could have at least been nice enough to let his former team know in advance about his decision.
