You wouldn't think the Rockets would have a need to sign him. We have Dwight, Capela, DMo, TJones, and Harrell. However, it could be that Sanders views the Rockets as a team he would want to play for. With the success we had with Josh Smith last year, and our willingness to embrace Lawson with all his problems. It could be that Sanders sees the Rockets as a team he could be comfortable playing for. We all know Morey isn't afraid to take a risk.

hopefully for the spurs or mavs. mavs are perfect for his since they're assembling the all "has been" team of the league. spurs need centers too. we dont need centers

Could be wrong, but I can't see the Spurs taking on this sort of reclamation project.

I envision Larry Sanders smoking weed and making crappy music somewhere in Texas.

Dwight, DMo and TJones are all injury prone.

So we're just gonna pretend he's not wearing that jersey?

It's either a Pippen jersey or an Eddie Griffin jersey. I'm not sure Larry is serious. He wore 1 at VCU and 8 with Milwaukee. So, I'm guessing it's not a pajama version of the number he'd like to wear with us. Who knows, but we could use a big that doesn't want to play much.

I don't buy it, but you never know. Harden chills with Lawson and a lot of people thought that didn't mean anything too.

No, he just missed both playoffs because he was in perfect condition.

Exactly!! The same know it alls swore up and down that Josh Smith would not be a fit with Rockets too last season. With Sanders could see Capela at the 4 against teams like Memphis. More talent and more flexibility is not a bad thing especially if competition for a chip.

One injury doesn't really make you injury prone. Derrick Rose would be an example of injury prone. Yao Ming, etc

Also, didn't even realize Sanders was out of the league. When & why did this happen?

Too much crap to list...guy is a complete headcase. Can't see Morey dealing with another Royce White situation.

Sanders skills are not as good as some of you think. he played on crappy teams and rebounded at best average, doesn't score well, can't shoot, misses half his free-throws. Not much of a passer. He is a good rim protector but that's about it. He has MAJOR life issues, doesn't love basketball, loves wacky weed and other "good-times", causes team fights, fights with staff, generally what we all call a clubhouse cancer. Nothing worth the risk about him.

Don't need... Howard and Baby Swiss Chocolate got the minutes.
Don't want... Why relive the Bucks nightmare and Royce White behavior again

Some of you need to get real about building a roster. I'm so glad Morey has the controls.

But... he plays centre that could play on a team which has a starting centre that can't play back-to-backs
