I don't know why this should require further clarification, but my intention was to illustrate how rare what he's doing is, for a rookie. Just comparing his stats to the average doesn't sufficiently do that. And if I wanted to compare his numbers to Shaq's or Robinson's, I would have explicitly listed their numbers in the post itself. That wasn't the purpose. And initially, I didn't even make mention of them. Further, I wrote the following, in the same post: "That's not to say that he's destined for stardom. But I think it's a pretty good indicator that he's going to be a very good rotation player for many years. And that's better than anyone should expect from a second rounder." You make it seem like I was directly comparing their stats. You either completely missed my point (I think you're smarter than that), you didn't read it carefully, or it is you who is being disingenuous.
