    This.

His arguing every call is getting ridiculous. Im sure the league officials no longer listen to anything he says. He has become the boy who cried wolf to often.

The other thing that drives me crazy abput lowry is imo he goes after to many offensive rebounds. Often times when he goes for a reb and misses the opposing pg has leaked out and creates missmatches on the other end of the court.

I hear what you are saying. But my question is why is it any different than what CP3 does on a nightly basis?

Found it funny Worell was commenting on it and somewhat praising CP3's constant campaining with the refs in one game than the very next game saying how he wishes Kyle would stop doing it.

Another superstar bias thing I guess. Refs are willing to listen to the widely respected guys, but don't want to hear it from guys like Lowry?

I think Lowry is I little overwhelemed. He feels like he has to do to much, and it's effecting him right now. If Martin was taking care of the scoring like last year Lowry would be able to do what he's great at, passing and defense with a big scoring game every now and then

Actually he isn't, his shooting is down and inconsistent, his turnovers are way up, for barely one more assist a game, and his defense has gotten far worse.

The OP is right, he is playing more and more like AB but without the offensive skills that AB has.

Lowry won the job by playing D and being a good facilitator, while he still facilitates pretty well, he no longer plays much D, and he shoots a lot more often.

However, he is NOT overpaid....he is still underpaid for his performance.

He is a top 10 -15 PG, which is not bad.

Yeah - running under the basket, being unable to finish or get a foul, and either tossing the ball back out or sauntering out along the baseline is basically AB0's signature skill that has nettted him kazillions of chinese yuan in his new career.

Too bad Lowry can't dupe that!!!!!!!!!!! :(

AB also had a competent coach running an offense slightly more advanced then what our coach currently runs.

    Of course not.

IMO, Lowry is better this year than Brooks was in his MIP season. By "better", I mean replace Brooks on this team and I believe we'll win less.

However, I'm less optimistic than I was at the beginning of the year in Lowry's potential to become an all-star caliber player. We're not going to be a team to be reckoned with in the playoffs until we get one or two of those.

Lowry is running this team right now. Even if his production falls, we still got him at a great value so there is nothing to complain about. The guy is borderline all star and because of his contract, we have a greater flexibility to sign big name players.

Lowry is criminally underpaid. Players of his skillset are getting paid $8-12m minimum.

He plays defense so he'll never become Aaron Brooks.

Agreed. Lowry is much like Rondo I feel and I mean that in the sense that he is not someone you build around but he's a good starting piece to add one of those superstars to. Of course if you have to trade him to get that superstar...

Maybe they wanted to sign Deron outright.

Which is also funny, I guess.

At least, I'm not the only one who thinks KLow is a bad defender. When he gets picked by a defender, I thought I was seeing AB because he does the same thing by following opposing PG. If we put C.Lee on opposing PGs, we have a greater chance to win, or opposing PGs will have field day. That is the price we pay for Lowry.
