    Why can’t we just enjoy a talented backcourt?

    Last game nobody could shoot so KPJ & Green took over

    This game KPJ went off and Green struggled

    Still progress from earlier this season so I’m pumped

    Just want to close out my take on this that while I do think KPJ is still 21 and will go through periods and moments of immaturity playing next to a potential superstar who will always get more of the spotlight and credit, kudos to him for supporting Green getting his first 40-point game. As the announcers stated, these kinds of milestones do wonders for any player's confidence for years, just like KPJ's 50-point 11-assist game did last year. Giving Bogdanovic a friendly smile after getting taken out in the face, staying late to throw shirts in the crowd and sign autographs longer than anyone... all good signs that there are more important things than who's getting theirs.

    When Green was around 36 pts KPJ made sure he started getting the ball by pointing at Green. He wanted those 40 for Green. I saw Nwaba jump up and down when he made 41 the three. It could have been Tate. I was watching on Weststream.

    KPJ and JG are kankiis for life. Green, Gup, Al-P and really all of our young guys are fantastic young men. Porter Jr now has the best built in friend group one could ask for and has also been seriously dating a remarkable young woman in Kysre Gondrezick. That's some real love and basketball vibes right there. You love to see it. Everything is finally coming together for him. Don't be surprised when he thrives.

    For those that don't know, Kevin Porter Jr. mentioned in post-game that he didn't feel himself to to start the game because he was dealing with something personal. His girlfriend's sister was married to 24 year old Dwayne Haskins, the football player that was hit by a vehicle and killed the other day. So she was his sister in law. Family.
