Why do people waste so much time and space pointing out how mediocre our players are. We are 3-7 it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Can we focus on the development of our young talent, instead of always pointing out what we are already aware of. This board has serious self esteem issues, where is Stuart Smalley when we need him?
The funny thing is that this guy is going to have the time in order to make a "statistical pie chart"! What does he do for a living? Nothing? He is actually going out of his way to troll! He must have some issues, or maybe his mommy and daddy didn't pay enough attention to him when he/or she was a child.
crappy responses makes crappy thread see what happens when the old timers who know better craps on a thread? the noobs just do a pile on...nothing original...just a stupid pile on.
No. Its all in your mind because he is playing his personal worst while on this team. In reality his personal worst is better than half the leagues guards still. Its perception about your own guy thats going south. Not his overall actual ability which is still near tops in scoring among guards.
This crap is stupid. Completely average for scoring? In the West, he is ranked 9th amongst all G's (PG and SG) (http://www.nba.com/statistics/playe...AME&qualified=N&yearsExp=-1&splitDD=All Teams). He is scoring 16.7 points average a game which means if thats average then Scola who is averaging 16.1 is below average? Which means everyone on our team is below average? (I erased the harmful message inserted here) The only thing you are correct on is his defense. But other then that, you look at assist and rebounding for a 2 guard?? Which by the way he is still on the top 30 on NBA.com so that doesn't seem so average or how you put it, below average.
16.7 ppg is still pretty craptastic if you think of the 23.5 ppg he was averaging under Adelman whoops .... rules have changed
Yes, he is weak in defense, but he has so much to often in the offensive end. 1. He is usually guarded by the best perimeter defender of the opponent team... 2. He is usually double teamed once dribble the ball to 22 feet range... which free up space for his teammate... 3. He barely miss open 2... Usually the box score is misleading... A lot of leading scorers in the league have no better FG % than the other teammates... but the difficult of the shots, movement off the ball and spacing aren't shown in it... Laker's FG rate is 0.461, and Kobe's FG rate is 0.459. By the figures Kobe is just an average scorer in the team, but I believe if any coach isn't adjusting the defend for him will probably be shot...
