that and jrich is looking like grant hill. terry...(where the hell are you getting your stats from?) shoots a slightly lower ft%....on barely half the attempts. career 3p% is also slightly lower, not higher. fg% is 0.1% higher, and on more attempts......really? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?playerId=2394 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?playerId=841
Even thought martin is struggling he still go 19 points most from the foul line so that is good. His shot will come around and this is his first time being traded. He spent most of his career in Sac town so he needs to adjust.
Yes. I wonder why that averaged to 28 lol. I think I took the pre-season game. But (Casey was right...)it was his non-shooting hand that got hurt. That still affects his game though, dribbling and you shoot with both hands. He still has to hold the ball with his left, with his wrist most likely bending back. Plus Tyreke is still a ballhog rookie, even the King fans will tell you this. Martin has said twice about how in Sacramento it was about watching one or two guys dribbling the ball. Either way, before the injury he was on a amazing pace.
AND he averaged 14.8 FT attempts for those 5 games. Face it, Martin is better than the players on your list other than Roy. Do you think any GM would trade Martin for Terry, Richardson, or Ginobli? (assuming the salaries matched) Mayo is the closest to even, and his age is a big reason why.
He isn't better this year. I'm not trying to be a Martin hater either. He seems smooth as silk and I hope he can shoot next year. I am just tired of inured players and think he is getting a bit over rated.
Not many guys can start 0-7 and still get 19 pts in an NBA game. Martin knows how to score the ball. This is what we needed guys so give it some time to come together. He IS a top SG in the west we just need him and AB to go out for ice cream together or somethin.
