The problem was that KM was obtained in the hope that he would play with Yao. The perfect place for him is in Orlando where Howard can erase his mistakes.
This. Although i have no intention of doing so, i could string some footage together from yesterdays Cavs game that would rival Tmac's "the Toronto game". He quit on the team yesterday.
From the Radio live on 610am: Calvin Murphy : "Keven Martin has checked out mentally. He needs to use some of the Murphyisms- If you see the rim....chuck it up. Leaving open shots. Teamates setting picks and leaving him open and he passes it up. " Murphy: "Heard Kevin's reputation is he's soft. Didn't believe it because of his injuries in the past. But now here in Houston. New situation. It's his time to step up....but it's not happening." "Kevin is one of those players that can be as good as he wants to be, or as bad as he wants to be."
"You don't get rid of quality players that are going through a slump... I wouldn't trade him" -Murphy on Kevin Martin
I don't know about Murphy's comment but one thing is for sure. Martin has always been a below average defender.... he gives up too much so that won't change for sure.
You were lobbying for the Rockets to trade for Martin and then you said he was fool's gold. You pretty much had all the bases covered so you were pretty much guarenteed to be right one way or the other.
