Has he improved much since 2005ish?

All I remember is cringe worthy stuff from his early days.

I think Kenan is a lot better when utilized as a boisterous character, he's always had charisma.

SNL in the mid 2000s was basically unwatchable.

I don't find him funny in a consistent kind of way. He's more of a consistently high energy comedian who misses more than he hits. For me, at least. His personality doesn't come off as annoying though and he seems like a good guy.

This maybe is an indictment of his friends more so than his talents, but I have a friend out in LA who writes with him sometimes round-table style and apparently when he steps out for a call his friends make fun of him bad. Like really rag on him beyond what would be normal for friendly ribbing. Maybe that's normal in LA though, I don't know. They sounded like jealous ingrates the way I heard it.

What's up with that? For Halloween, a friend and I are going as Kenan and Jason Sudakis dancing in the track suit. I love doing the Sudakis dance every chance I get.

I agree on most of this. Except I don't necessarily have a favorite, but they all have their moments and Keenan is solidified in the lineup. 'What's up with that?' and the 'Scared Straight prisoner' sketches are awesome.

While there isn't an obvious bonafide superstar (Ferrell, Sandler, Meyers, etc) or SNL legend yet (Carvey, Hartman, etc) I think this cast has held the fort. Maybe the equivalent of an NBA playoff team that makes the first or second round.

i like the cast too, but i will say the vast majority of this season has been down.

i think wiig is the closest one to being a legend. michaels as already said she's a top 5 cast member ever.

Yeah, the what's up with that, old man dance videos, and the non-scary prison inmate are 3 great recurring characters. Whose idea was it to have Lindsey Buckingham just sitting there in every show? So random and stupid that it's brilliant!

I still love the show and always will. I've been watching it since it's inception when I used to sneak into the living room after my mom went to bed to watch the first cast. It's amazing how little it has changed in 35 years. I hope it never goes off the air.

SNL has hooked me, although I think it should go off air when Lorne eventually retires.

"What's Up With That?" and the prison inmate skits are funny enough to me to consider Kenan one of the funnier cast members.

Still not up to par with Bill Hader though, who is my current favorite. When they pair him with Wiig it's funny even if it's an off skit.

    Forgot to say...

I may be wrong, but I think the old man reporter bit is based on this old YouTube video:

He's good on the show, but I don't think he could ever be a star off of it. What's up with that, Steve Harvey, Jean K Jean, and the scared straight are always good even though I really get tired of recurring sketches after 4, but his always get me. I don't like the old man sex positions at all though.

and the second hand suit/costume shop guy is bad too.

I think he is good on the show with the few successful character he has. I thought he was going to have to work when they hired Jay Pharoah, but he has been a disappointment. JP's impressions are good but the other featured players have leap frogged him. Apparently he isn't a good sketch writer, yet.

Can you believe KT has been on SNL for 8 years!!!?

Stefon is hilarious by the way. Do they trick Hader on the TelePrompter before he goes on? There hasn't been one time he hasn't cracked up; it's like they don't go over some of the stuff at the table read so it's a surprise at showtime.
