Neither. She isn't hot and she isn't ugly. She is attractive in that she is cute, and ONLY cute. Not hot, not beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, or striking. Just plain 'ol cute.
Exactly, the poll results do not indicate that a lot of people think she is hot. That was what you claimied, - the poll doesn't show it. It says she's starting out with a 43% ugly rating as a handicap, but go ahead and start a poll if you like.
I did? Where? The poll question was is she ugly which is what I was addressing. And the absurdness of calling her fat.
WHo cares what the poll is addressing? Let's short circuit this My points: 1. IMO she is not anything to write home about as far as being visually attractive (which is all we know about her after all since she is presented to us as a product to be bought) and if I had to rank her, I'd say "average at best" or maybe a 6 out of 10; 2. Harboring opinion #1 above, and apparently I am not alone on this, does not automatically mean that one is a club-footed hunchback who hides in his basement and cannot attract women who do not exist outside of computer screens - at least in my case, and I suspect many others as well. In fact I suspect many who harbor opinion #1 are capable of maintaining relationships with women who, on a scale of visual attractiveness, exceed that of Kelly Clarkson. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and a lot of us don't behold it. Who cares?
I've always promised myself that if I was ever on a message board arguing the semantics of a poll regarding the attractiveness of an American Idol constestant, that I would end it. Farewell.
I agree, I feel the same way when the undisputed post count [edit:] runner-up of CF.net accuses everybody else of being rosy palmed internet geeks.
I never said I wasn't one. And you need to look up the definition of undisputed. I guess the Seattle Seahawks are the undisputed champions of the NFL?
the oscar myer weiner song is catchy and im sure we've all found ourselves enjoying it at some point in our lives.. but i wouldn't call it music.. catchy songs without much anything else are just simply..'jingles'.
I don't think Kelly is ugly, but she isn't all that hot either. Buutt, I do very much enjoy her "Since you've been gone." I sing it everyday I drive to work.
LMAO...Rocketman95, you are my favorite poster. And I don't think people should hate on her music. I am one of the biggest "indie snobs" you will ever meet, but she has an incredible voice, cranks out hits like it's nobody's business, and people buy tickets to see those songs performed live. If you have never sat squished in car with 6 other people singing "Since You Been Gone" on the top of your lungs, you're missing out on life.
She must be good. Trader_Jorge once told me that "Since You've Been Gone" is the most popular couch dance song at Treasures.
i may not like her genre of music but even i can see that she is talented. her songs are beyond mere "jingles".
But, her 'incredible voice' and cranked out hits leave little significance in their wake.. nothing influential. and the few songs steering towards inspirational are anything but. people buying tickets to see a concert hardly proves otherwise.. see will houng/hung whatever his name is... Oh, and speaking of concerts. The Who, Nov 18. and yikes for that last part..
Well now you do know. You're welcome. Actually, that's not even close to what I meant. Thanks for playing, though.
