Great thing is, thats what he did during the games, except he is taking the ball from under center.

That deep ball is money though, he should throw every pass 20+ yards

    Mayock:

He's confirming he can make every throw mechanically and his arm strength is on par with Bortles, better than Bridgewater, as good as Bortles/Carr.

He's confirmed things. He's not opening up questions like Bridgewater.

    His deep ball is impeccable.

Vick is a terrible comp. He's not nearly the runner Vick was. Not even close.

He's probably a better passer though, Vick was a glorified RB for most of his career.

Not disputing that. I'm saying Vick is a terrible comp for him. I don't they are really anything alike at all.

Looking good so far. They keep bringing the injury bug. Who's to say he won't become a very durable quarterback in the NFL?

I think I would roll the dice with this kid. He and Case could become a very formidable duo.

They keep saying we will need another quarterback that can play a similar style to Johnny, due to his size.

    don't mess with Texas!

Vick definitely has better straight line/breakaway speed, no doubt. But really sets Manziel apart in his ability to scramble is his vision and agility. Both of those aspects of his game are simply incredible. But I also agree that he and Vick aren't a good comparison. He reminds me more of a Russell Wilson.

Jaws: Tremendous improvement in his mechanics. He moves up on my board.

I think that performance kills any chance of the Texans picking him up because he won't fall to the 2nd round.
