Can't wait to draft day. Damn excited to see who they choose, and what this new regime can do with the pick.

Yes, I hear you as tank from the matrix, whisper shouting "it's a very exciting time!" with clinched fists.

I can't wait to see the fear in opposing QB's eyes as they face Clowney and Watt for the first time.

    Wade Phillips:

“When I did the interview with the McNairs, I told them they ought to take Johnny Football,” Phillips said. “That’s what I told them and I’m sitting here now.”

I would think that even NFL coaches watch some college football during the season. Maybe he loads up his DVR with college games and watches during the off-season.

I think the best thing about what wade said was not saying to take clowney. Wade doesn't see him as a franchise changer. Hopefully that holds some weight and guarantees a QB with the pick which is good

Considering he got fired right afterwards, and his opinion was to draft JFF, I doubt his opinion holds any weight at all.

Wade is no dummy. He knows the Texans need a QB. Only way a luxury pick (Clown3y) makes sense is if they trade down.

We'll never know, but he certainly wasn't going to be brought back suggesting the Texans spend the first overall pick on the Vince Young/Micheal Vick hybrid.

He may be very moronic but when it comes to the NFL he is very knowledgeable whether people like to admit it or not.
