quit being silly. i like manziel and hope we pick him. however, i'm okay w/ whomever coach thinks will best fit what he wants to do offensively. but get a grip, manziel should be and will be a high 1st round pick.

No where close to high round, I don't even know how people even think that.

He is 3-4 th rounder at best

    Ridiculous, educate yourself about football

    Another Case

He is a polarizing player. You think he is a 3rd-4th rounder while other believe he is a top 5 selection. High level scouts will grade him a top 10 pick. I would not question their football education since they do it for a living.
    Maybe they are wrong.
    Or maybe you are.

No high level scout has graded him a top 5, top 10 or even in the first round 10 (probably because they haven't graded picks yet)

Watch film and get a grasp on what A&M is running rather than be enamored by "big" plays, listen Greg Cosell

Well we probably will never know what a team's scouts rates a player. that information is likely kept behind closed doors aside from some of the purposeful leaking of information. The best we as fans have to go on is our own evaluation or the so called draft experts. There are plenty of draft experts that have Manziel rated that highly. And yes these guys are wrong plenty of the time, but they also get plenty of player evaluations right.

you are absolutely out of touch with reality if you believe you have any idea how this will play out. also, educate yourself on manners ya prick.

edit: maybe you aren't a prick in real life. if not my apologies. i always am, and at any rate, you're still wrong:)

No apologies needed, this is a message board, I don;t take much said on here seriously if any at all

The only people who believe Manziel is truly a 1st or even 2nd round talent are either terrible scouts or fans.

Fans I can understand, exciting kid, makes please it is easy to fall in love with that

Scouts have no excuse to be grading Manziel higher than a 3-4th round pick.

He throws in a offense that me and you could learn over night

RG3's offense? I get there's RG3 hate right now but if he was reinserted into this year's draft he'd go #1.

RG3 got screwed by the dysfunction within Washington organization. Between a coddling owner and a coach desperate to save his job, RG3 wasn't in a good position to develop well. I hope the injury situation doesn't result in permanent impairment.

He was a lot closer than Manziel/RG3

He had to go through progressions and read defenses in his spread offense

Kids now adays have it babied and simplified to them

Part of the reason why Uof Texas will be dominant again, A Luck type will want to stay in state and play under Strong and Watsons pro style system

Don't tell me - you were a Titans fan when the great VY played for them?

Care to make a wager on your 3rd or 4th round grade? I'll take picked before 65th - might even be willing to give you some odds.

I loved VY, put in the pit of my stomach I knew he was questionable at best for the NFL

    The sidearm release was scary
