Well at least he'll be able to show that highlight reel to his kids one day when he's talked about as a bust.

But we're not debating that Tom Terrific isn't elite are we.. Because Tom has a track record of going deep in the playoffs.

What's Rodgers track record... Other then getting hot once and winning the chip. Does he continuously get his team deep in the playoffs like Brady...? No he does not so Kaepernick taking him out is relevant especially when Rodgers only threw for 177 yards and 1 TD at home and San Francisco had a starting corner back out.

Don't get me wrong I would take Rodgers in a heartbeat. But I don't care that we don't have him...

No I'm not... You're just taking it that way. Yes I understand if you put Rodgers on Seattle or San Francisco they would be in the same position. But the world doesn't work that way. He's in Green Bay.

Really it's more of a logic argument than anything. Both Brady and Rodgers are clearly elite level QB's.

Basically your argument is that since QB A got sent home twice by a team with a poor QB that means he's not an elite QB but you then argue that QB B getting sent home twice by a team with a poor QB doesn't mean that he's not elite. It's inconsistent thinking. If you want to say that Rodgers isn't elite because the Packers lost to the Niners twice in a row that would mean that Brady isn't elite because the Patriots got beat twice in a row by the Jets.

Personally I know that team performance has nothing to do with a QB's performance, so I judge them on completely different criteria so this whole "wins" issue is irrelevant to me, but my point is that you should be consistent in your thinking.

His team did enough. He didn't step up. I repeat, 177 passing yards against a team that gives up 221 passing yards per game. It's not always about the numbers a QB puts up but also about making clutch plays in clutch situations and Rodgers has only done that during one year in the playoffs. If he was notorious for going deep in the playoffs and lost twice to Kaepernick _ it would be a none issue (to me).

When you build your team around your QB (like Green Bay and N.O.) you have to depend more on that QB and that QB has to do more because that's where the money is at, so you can't always blame it on the team because those QBs are taking up so much of the cap. That's why my criteria is different from yours. But everyone has different views on these things.

No it doesn't. Just got to call BS when I see it. I am not only talking Bridgewater. But he is who I think is the best NFL prospect. I do like your guy Garappolo, not better than Bridgewater but I would take him 1st qb in lat year's draft, over EManuel and Geno.

I'm not one who believes you have to have the best QB _ I just believe you just need a good one who can get the job done and not throw TDs to the opposing team. And I think Jimmy fits that mold at a cheaper price than the guys at the top of this draft.

Kareem Martin is a guy I like in a later round as well if they don't want to go with guys like Clowney or Barr.

    4 months to go

I wouldn't go by anything said this early in the process...

But in all honesty I would rather have Jimmy G or Jeff Matthews than those two
