Greg Cosell on Cowherd this morning (I'm paraphrasing):

His game is based on unstructured plays. He has a lot to learn understanding fronts and reads. You can't base your NFL game on "making plays". Not a can't miss prospect. NFL about structure, if your total game is based on unstructured play you can't make it in the NFL.

Colin- Vs. LSU which has 11 dbs in the league now he had (2 games) 1 TD and 5 picks.

Last 2 min. or so of interview.

11DBs from a single game? 2013 LSU DBs are not in the league yet.

I found 2 from 2012: Eric Reid and Tharold Simon (?).
    Manziel 0TDs 3 INTs

What about Alabama? I found 2 from the 2012 game: Robert Lester and Dee Milner
    Manziel: 2TDs 0INTs

Was probably speaking of lineage. 11 current NFL DBs went to LSU. Doesn't mean anything specifically to the current team, but it does suggest that LSU has a recent history of producing NFL caliber defensive backs.

Yea completely idiotic statement on Cosell's part. Using false numbers to prove his point.

This is also a foolish statement if you have watched Manziel play at all. The guys has improved immensely this season as a pocket passer and making reads at the line. Granted his wow plays come off-schedule but that doesnt mean he can only play off-schedule.

I want to point out that Cowherd said the part about LSU and the 11 current NFL dbs who went there, not Cosell.

They are also based on percentages and efficiency, not volume. Many detractors of Manziel believe he is only good cause his stats are inflated because of the offense he plays in.

Bridgewater maybe the best selection in this draft, but the people claiming Manziel is a joke and overrated need to read this article.

What in the world happened to Tahj Boyd's stock? Guy is a better player than a Blake Bortles/Mettenburger. He reminds me of Donovan McNabb.

I don't think anybody is saying that about Manziel. Everybody is worried about how his game will transition to the NFL, which is a legitimate concern.

I think Manzel has the best chance of being a star out of this QB class, but there is also a bigger chance that he is a bust than some of the other "safer" picks. Unfortunately none of the QB's are unanimous choice first over all picks. Of course there have been plenty of unanimous first pick QB's who have been busts too.

Even successfully picking the best QB in the draft is a hollow victory if none of them turn out to be stars. Especially if you pass on star players at other positions of need.

    Oh NOOOOO! JK

    Bridgewater is a Miami guy.

At least it wasn't a picture of Bortles.

Manziel looks pretty "thick" in that picture; might be the angle.

I was listening to 610 and they were talking about how Manziel is skinny...not sure why there is a perception that he's small...he's thick as hell. Each of his thighs are the size of my waist.

He might be short (5'11")...but he's got some girth to him. He weighs in the 210-215 range, which is pretty hefty for a guy his height.

I mean, Andre is like 4 inches taller but only weighs about 15 more pounds than Johnny....and Andre is a beast.

So all this talk about Johnny being too small or getting injured...I dont get it. If he plays wreckless, yes he can get injured, but he's not going to be getting injured because he's too skinny or too small for the position.

RGIII looks like a "stick man" compared to Manziel. I don't understand the "fragile" talk either. He is definitely not fragile.
