A running game? Since when is 28th in rushing a "running game"? Willis McGahee's dried up corpse, Captain Crutches Ben Tate, and Chris Obygngoabgangaya. Yuck.
i know people wanted manziel, but if he dropped all te way to the mid 20's, thats a very good indication that the texans should not have reached for him at #1
however, after looking at the trades were made (Essentially swapping 1sts plus a 3rd), I think the texans FO failed when it failed to trade for him when he fell so far
The draft isn't over and they have plenty of picks and there arw several good running backs in this draft. Let's see if they get one. And Ben Tate isn't garbage. And they made a great 1st pick. They are paying attention to Seattle and building up that secondary. And it looks like they are trying to move up to get another receiver. Johnny should be glad the Texans, Jags, etc didn't draft him... Or maybe they should be glad...Lol. We shall see
Decidedly average (below average if you want him to carry it 20 times a game), provided he's healthy (which is basically never). Can't catch, can't block, either.
Either you love him or hate him, i'm in the middle but he would have made me super amped about the next season!! He has that wow factor that no one else has in this draft maybe Bortles
That Browns team is absolutely loaded on offense now. If he can't be successful there, he won't be successful anywhere.
cameron and gordon are very good starts...tates going to have to prove he can run for a full season to take pressure off whoever is QB
This cocky little punk should be glad he just made it in the first round. If he was smart, he wouldn't be going up there with that "I'm gettin' paid" attitude. Take note Cleveland, you're getting somebody who thinks he already knows what he's doing, not somebody with his mouth shut, and his ears open. Good riddance!
No they didn't Buffalo did. They traded back. I would like to see them go after Benjamin though... Or Hyde.
