Great stuff against a good defensive team. Rooting for the guy. I think he may surprise us. Next step is they need to get him a veteran backup to give him tips and constantly push him mentally. The impact he made when returning shows that he does in fact make his team better, rather than just racking up the stats. It's been an overwhelming turnaround since he returned.
The kid's only 22. Take the chance on him and give him the max. He's shown what type of player he can be.
Yup, he's younger than Lilliard by a few months to give some context. He's been improving every year and made some big leaps this year.
I might be blind, I don't see the travel. He dribbles one more time after he goes behind his back then takes his 2.5 steps. If that even was a travel, there are so many worse travels such as Lebrons 4 step transition dunks.
27 pts on 8/17 from the field, 11-13 FT, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 TO vs. a great defensive Bulls team.
Well the answer to this question should be clear by now. Tonight Wall almost single-handedly spanked the Pacers by himself with 37 pts on 16-25 shooting, 5 assists, 4 rebs, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and only 2 turnovers
I don't know when he get so good, but he's proving to be very much worth the max. Crazy thing is he doesn't even have a jump shot yet...
I personally don't think he is worth the max. That athleticism, which is the foundation of his game, will fade in a few years.
I wish he could be in a better system. He would excel if he wasn't mired in the craphole that is Washington. With that being said, someone will throw a lot of money his way. Imagine Wall on a team that could use an upgrade, like Memphis, Dallas and Atlanta. Dear lord, imagine him on Dallas.
Actually yeah. Physical peak is probably 20-25. Also I feel like I've seen so many high flying players like him succumb to injury. He's already had some weird knee injury. Also, you also have to count on him to develop the rest of his game - shooting and defense. That is always a big if. Just makes it risky to give him the max. Then again, I don't think a lot of players deserve to get the max. I am probably not the best GM...
Looks like he is finally turning the corner onto legit stardom. Guess we could say he'll be averaging around 19-21.0 ppg and 7-8.0 apg by next year.
