I would hope that at a pro level pride would make these guy's step up their game.If we've got guy's coasting because they think JJ will cover their ass,well we need those guy's gone. I've seen it when I coached youth bball, but there is so much on the line for these guys ... I could see it happening on a bad team with a bunch of losses but I don't think it's on the Texans D.
No, the defense has to earn their spot too. Thats what they should be worried about..we have seen every defensive player play good to great, so we know that they are able to. We didn't become the #1 defense by not trying. They all work hard, even if the stats havent shown it yet.

As obviously inferred, I'm more befuddled by the rest of the front seven besides JJ to almost become invisible, while JJ is is in Godzilla mode.honestly, I'm over being upset. I just want to see some good plays, maybe even 1 sack from someone on the front seven besides JJ ....I think we'll get that this coming game ( fingers crossed ) ....as far as everyone being a little hard,...nah. Half the responses such as from you showed some maturity, intelligence/understanding with my premise (even tho you don't have to agree), and reading comprehension... The other half is either kids who likely aren't doing well in school, or those too lazy to read...if they aren't either of those two things, then they are being a jackass, and good riddance as soon as they die. The sooner the better IMHO...
