I am not the one proclaiming Lin is Smith and I don't think they are similar. I am just saying it is definitely true that it is possible Lin could become like that because no one knows the future. Clutchness is a trait that could be developed. Therefore, it is not that bad and it is not right to make a huge deal out of it.
you must not be aware of how the board works. if you find an offensive post, you report it to the mods, then mods are the decision makers . I'll say it again . My opinion is that other's found my post to be humorous, which struck a nerve in you or you actually did what I said in that post, DVRed the game and fast forward to see Lin play.
It's quite common that people just post. No, I said what I meant and this is not the first time I've said the same thing. Sorry, not true at all, don't even have a DVR.
Someone who joined in april 2013, drops 500+ posts, gets annoyed by the opinion that some fans dvr the game just to see one player, you wonder.
This is where the problem is, not the DVR part. And this decadent earlier-than-thou seniority complex BS is also very annoying.
Ok, Ive gotten over the "after loss depression" and I believe Lin is here to stay. He's shown flashes and strings of games what he's capable of doing.
1. That's my opinion based on what i've noticed on this board based on what they post. 2. You brought up the seniority issue. I actually respect the longtime board members here, it means they keep it real for all the years.
Have you posted a single thing about basketball. Every post is about racism, politics, the suffering of LOFs, or your general philosophy on random parts of life. Now you've had 2 pages worth of discussion about DVRs.
Is it possible to block people? I'm new here too. (And indubitably I would like others who do not wish to see me or read my thoughts anymore to be able to block me as well, for I am not one to impose myself on others. Yes, having such a feature could be grand...)
he posted this gem: Translation: I can't say that Kenny Smith is better than Lin at basketball, so I drop this "no one knows the future" "clutchness is a trait that could be developed" bs. I'll drop this basketball nugget: Comparing Year 1 Kenny Smith with the Rockets vs Year 1 Jeremy Lin, I give the nod to Kenny Smith. It's unfortunate that you only see these posts. I posted in many threads about all kinds of basketball related topics. I also posted in the game threads. Talking about basketball is the reason I joined, something I've doing for 10 plus years. Doesn't I mean I won't respond when I see something upsetting.
