man there is almost nothing I hate more on message boards than self-righteous posters wasting space trying to tell people how things "should be done" on a FAN MESSAGE BOARD. I can understand if it's blatantly inappropriate, but I came into this thread hoping to read some discussion or possible information on how james has been doing, and all I find is people arguing over IRRELEVANT CRAP. how can you pretend to be better than the OP when you've wasted over a PAGE of space talking about NOTHING related to the topic? pathetic. anyway, I'd definitely like to hear how he's doing in practice, and if there's a possibility of getting another 10 day or maybe taking a look at someone else. I watched some more of his games from the NBA.com futurecast archive; he's got a full arsenal. he can get to the line, space the floor, and take his man off the dribble. I think he needs to be a bit more aggressive on the boards, and I've seen a few possessions where he's tired and gets lazy on D, but he's definitely an improvement over luther.
If you want to sort through multiple threads to find your info, then that's great, some people don't. Wasting space is wasting space. Most of this space was wasted with arguing, it's not different than had it been wasted by having 20 posters write "who knows when he'll play since he's a scrub" in their own way. He wasn't the first one who asked, and i'm sure he wont be the last, but this will help cut back on these posts. Sometimes you have to be blunt and direct and say its pointless to keep asking this because he's not important enough for the coach to announce when he'll play. If you sugar coat it then you can expect one of these every game day, and that's going to waste more space, over a longer period of time, than the space we just wasted today.
I just think he could be that guy to attack the basket like McGrady should be doing and like Wafer does now. Artest will take to the rack sometimes but a guy like White i could see getting the outlet pass off Yao getting doubled and really go aggresive to the whole.
and this is exactly why some people would like to keep it all in one post, the original post stated the rockets wouldn't be practicing much since they have a tough schedule, so white isn't going to have the opportunity to really get some significant practice time. I'm as happy about getting more athletic as any other fan, but if this forum can do a good job of keeping relevant info in one place, then it benefits everyone by giving them all the info available more quickly.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I'm glad someone else besides me sees the truth. It's funny how guys think just because a guy can jump out the gym he is nice. Come on didn't yall learn yall lesson from Stromile Swift
You'll get over it. And I'd love to see what White can do. I would expect him to play at least once relatively soon since he's only on a 10 day contract. Or did he get signed? I'm a little behind on the Rox news.
I can't remember who it was, but the rockets signed someone last year or the yr prior to that, he was signed to a 10 day and never played in a game, they just let the 10 days run off, so don't be surprised if he doesn't play at all
Nah i'm pretty sure he played in at least one game, unless he signed one 10 day, didn't play, and then came back on another 10 day and did play??
Oh wow I could have sworn it was him. I remember him being here also. If he isn't the guy then I'm stuck on who your thinking about. You maybe talking about that wing player Jones. I think thats his name Im not sure. I think maybe your talking about the guy that use to play for the Nuggets.
Was it Bobby Jones?? I'm thinking he played one game too because i remember he scored, but I'm not as sure as I was with woods...
That would really be a shame. From what I've read on White he's been kind of dominating the D-League this season, though I'm not sure about his consistency.
he's won't have a big contract and he's to talented to not let play or keep on the team. I would be extremely disappointed if he doesn't stay cause I don't see a reason not to keep him.
