    Not as dominant as Hakeem.

Statistically this shows how good Harden is. Another excellent post showing Hakeem's true greatness. Also shows (along with history) that we should have kept Francis and Mobley.

I'd like to see Drexler in that list, even though he only has around 8000 minutes. From what I can see his VORP/WS with the Rockets was 14/26.8

mvp is a popularity contest. any relationship to how good a player actually is, is purely coincidental.

I give him that. He is easily more easy going.

Yup, he comes close to having better stats in the regular season, but Hakeem was the most dominant ever on both ENDS.

Harden is better offensively, without having much athleticism. That is really something.

I won't give him anything yet unless he has a flawless Postseason record.

Heck if he can do it all in an era of Prime Jordan, Prime Shaq and Akeem, Magic n Bird, Duncan, and Detroit Bad Boys while still facing the likes KG, Kobe, young Barkley and Lebrawn.

Only then yeah. It's all about the competition you are up against.

I agree. I was very shocked at the lopsided poll results in Hardens favor. There's absolutely no way you can give harden that title when he hasn't exceeded in the playoffs yet. He will undoubtedly go down as one of the best rockets as is right now, but Harden has been a regular season all star. If he wants to pass Hakeem or arguably others, he has to show up in the playoffs. Hakeem never went ghost the way harden did in an elimination game.

All this is no disrespect to harden, all that is to just further communicate how insane it would be to call harden the best rocket at this point in his career. He's got a lot more to prove and to play.

I think he very well could pass Moses if he keeps this up all season and wins MVP...he's already got 2 runner ups with us as well. Hakeem was do dominant on both ends of the floor(regular season and playoffs) that he will always be #1 even if Harden goes on to bring us 2 titles.

Harden hasn't even had consistently good playoffs yet.

Moses is still second best. If Harden gets to the finals I'll put him above him. Think he will surpass Moses but not as of yet.

Maybe....... Besides Dream, you got Moses Malone, Calvin Murphy, and Elvin Hayes. Don't forget Yao and McGrady. Harden is one of the best regular season players for sure, but until he stops "melting" in the playoffs he is not that special. He has been seriously "wretched" when it really counted. Not a good legacy so far.

Moses has THREE MVP's (two with the Rockets), and he literally took the Rockets all the way to the finals on his back.

74 people say Harden is better then Big Mo. Just wow.....maybe you 74 people might want to YouTube big Mo.

When answering these questions for a current player, I always go under the assumption that the player retires today.

I do not believe that Harden would be the franchise's second greatest player if he retired today. Moses or Calvin is.

I do, however, believe that he will have hit that level by the time he plays out his current contract even if he doesn't sustain his current ridiculous pace.

I can't blame Rockets fans due to the fact the organization does not ever mention him for unknown reasons. The 50 anniversary book hardly talks about him.
