Is it worth buying the xbox 360 core system?

    Just goto the Micro Center in Houston:

    1717 West Loop Drive South
    Houston, TX 77027

    If you buy the XBOX 360 Platinum package from them, you get a $100 mail in rebate which brings the price down to $299 (same price as Core), you also save an additional $100 if you open up a credit card with Micro Center.

    distence or faos.. did you have to spend additional money in order to get the $100 for starting the credit card.... or was the XBOX 360 premium alone enough to quality you for the extra 100 off when you started the card?
