If they want Childress, why not just offer #8 for him? The salaries are close to the same. Now if something was to really go down, maybe sign Harrington at 8m, Childress for #8,Swift/Howard and Sura would work under the circumstances.

It will be awesome to get Harrington for 8M, but apparently he will seek a deal close to Max and Rockets can not absorb such a contract.

Actually that's been their battle cry for past several seasons and is bound to be their battle cry for the forseeable future particularly considering who's doing the "retooling"...

Too good to be true will be Rudy Gay falling to us at #8. We get the best player in the draft and won't have to give up anything to get him. The way things are shaking out it seems VERY possible!

    1) Bargnani
    2) Aldridge
    3) Roy
    4) Morrison
    5) S.Williams
    6) T.Thomas
    7) M. Williams
    8) Rudy Gay!!!

That would almost make up for the Texans passing on Reggie Bush!!!

That is not true. This off season we really have the flexibility to reshape the roaster and get some younger talent on board. Playing with the washed out veterans and CBA level players were the financial compulsion for the last two years. CD will leave on a high note as he has some trade baits to go with the TE and MLE. We will fight for the home court in the play offs.

First retooling the roaster now reshaping the roaster, that sure is one worn-out roaster!

It indeed is. Hayes, Bowen, Lampes and Frahms are not going to take you to the promise land and to make te things worse, Mutombo, Wesley and Sura are not going to get younger. That is half of our roaster. And all of them combined may not fetch you a second rounder. Fortunately, Spoon's and Norris's contracts are finally off the books and provide us some cap flexibility and the TE, our lotto pick plus Head/Swift/Howard have some trade value and help us get some genuine complementary players to play along Yao and Tmac. And our MLE can also bring in a starter caliber player. It is no brainer that we will infuse some young talent in our roaster. Who are we going to land is anybody's guess.

I don't know, putting young talent into our roaster sounds alittle dangerous don't ya think. It must be one big roaster.
