I would rather get bounced out in the first round than be a lottery team (which we are without scola) My whole life in sports ive been taught to do everything u can to WIN, I think our best shot at WINNING is with scola!
I understand. Adelman is aging. I don't think they are looking at dumping him as coach. He hang it up in a couple years. I just don't see him going away this season.
What the hell, how does being mediocre every single year have anything to do with winning? Every team has ups and downs, how the hell would the Rockets have ended up with Hakeem if they didn't suck balls all those years ago? Only thing worse than finishing last is finishing in the middle over and over and over again.
Unless Scola nets us a Superstar player, then no. He is so good, and he just needs better teamates to play with and off of... DD
For some reason, I figure it a waste of time to engage in basketball conversation with someone who can't properly spell "point guard".
Lets try it this way- I will give you four Skittles today that you can do one of two things with. You can either eat your four skittles now or wait two weeks and i'll give you a whole pack of skittles. Do you still want those four skittles?
Oh goodness, DD I was thinking you had blocked me. Six pages and no input, I nearly panicked. Regardless, you are right, he needs better teammates to make something happen. Can the Rockets find him those teammates before his decline?
As Yao is rehabbing, they should have guys hitting, slapping him in the post.. I mean give it their best shot. In practices it should be Hayes bodying Yao while Hill tries to block him. Yao does 200 of these drills and he will be able to play NBA basketball again. Work out of that passing out of tight spots, quick move before the double, then have somebody clank the ball off the rim/backboard and let Yao rebound against, Hill, Miller, Patterson.. I wonder if Houston is doing these types of drills? If not it's time to move on without Yao. Case closed
Although I don't agree with your vast amounts of exclamation marks since you sound like a crazed person in my head, I agree with the message. I would rather be a first round exit team then a lottery team. But I'm bias due to my love of attending playoff games. There is nothing like it.
I don't know about all the skittles stuff lol Here's what im trying to say: If you don't do EVERYTHING in your power to win, then there is no reason to play! If you trade away all your players after a rough start to the season, ill end up like the clippers or Bobcats! They always get good draft picks but when was the last time they contended?
The Clippers are have a nice core of young players and the Bobcats made the playoffs last season. When is the last time the Rockets seriously contended
Man I guess you have not been watching many Knicks games, Randolph's outside shot is very inconsistent, his handle is above average for a big but he'll turn it over when he starts acting like the PG which calls into question his bball iq or lack of it. Huge disappointment for Knick fans because he's not even in the rotatation when everyone thought he might be 6th man of the year in the preseason. He's what he was with the Warriors a young player with potential but he's losing his luster to me.
