We can say the same about the top 2-3 teams in the West as well. As good as every other team is in the West is there even a point to arguing against SA, OKC or the Clippers? As hot as the Rockets have been in the 4th spot, the Clippers are 10-0 in their last ten coming down the home stretch SA is 9-1 and have been playing amazing since the all-star break. The West may have a better overall playoff field but in terms of title contention I don't look any further than three teams.
