I believe I heard Bull on the postgame stating they were going to get Chase more minutes and reduce Battier some

    Direction !

They should be getting Chase more...and whichever player out of Shane and Trevor is playing worse sits.

Honestly, I think management are being WUSSIES in this situation....they need to toughen up..and start holding player accountable.

definitely sit trevor. dude is terrible. i dont recall seeing a worse player in a starting role. he's a decent bench guy but no way is he a starter.

HELL YEA its time.. Chase shoulda been starting since he had that monster game when Ariza was out with that 1 game suspension.. Ariza can only dream to have the all around game of Chase

Ariza is a waste of minutes.

Dude is lethargic out there trying to be the man....

It's like Rafer Alston with out the ball handling skills....jump shot...ill advised driving to the hoop with out control....

    blah.

I totally agree. I blame mgmt and the coaching staff with how they are handling Ariza. I backed Ariza all season long wanting to give him a chance to see if he would grow into a solid contributor. My hope is mgmt has realized it's not working and can possibly add him in a deal.

I love Chase as a player, and think it's time for an increased role. I believe the club is worried about his defense, but I think if we add a low post presence ( through trade or Yao next year) it wouldn't be that big a deal.

Funny that they would be worried about his defense when the team is consistently giving up 30+ points a game in the first quarter.

    ;)

Agree again. Team defense has been lackluster. All the people that think Yao didn't have a positive affect clogging up the middle should rethink that stance. I said a couple weeks ago that I believe this team may have hit it's ceiling. I think it's time to deal. I love this team, but it's time for improving it

Which makes it more puzzling as to why Shane and/or Trevor are starting. Defensive stoppers? What!?

I agree with that too....but they can improve it already by benching Trevor or severely limiting his minutes.

    I know, right?

Neither are doing that, and NO team has two legitimate starting all star wings...we don't need 2 defensive stoppers...they are REDUNDANT.

I don't mind Chase starting or not.

But he deserves more minutes just for development. His game fits Yao's perfectly.

His game fits any wining team perfectly, because he has an all around game.

First 3 minutes in the game hinrich scores 5 points on battier then he rips him. I get pissed and ff to the 4th where they start catching momentum ariza and chase...... Then PAM! substitution (battier) we get blown out and rick sticks chase back in,but its too late.

i think this should have been a sticky thread after the 3rd game. ariza went downhill after his first 2 games. it's been U-G-L-Y.

dude probably has zero confidence in his game right now, from what i have seen. this is terrible for his development. adelman has to intervene.

He still makes a lot mistakes, but he does have a lot tools. More playing time is what he needed. Not necessarily starting though.

Ariza's minutes should be cut down some, Brooks's minutes should be cut down slightly. Lowry and Cbud should see the floor more.

Cut Ariza's minutes significantly, do not cut Brooks, and Lowry is doing great, he is not consistent enough yet...last night nails...tonight 1-6.....

though i think Chase is not entirely ready for the starting role, i cant see us going a negative direction by reducing trevor's minutes.

plus chase plays pretty dam smart on the court, rarely makes any stupid mistakes. yes we lose defence, but battier is there to guard people like kobe. and if the situation fits, we can always switch up the rotation.

right now, trevor makes me wanna smash my computer screen on any given night

Why would we start Lowry at SG? He is a perfect back up to brooks and plus he can't shoot or even score very well! Keep the lineup how it is till we can make a trade for a scorer then we can talk lineups! We are just trying to pass time till we can make a trade i think! Plus im not very high in Chase anyway! I hope he is whatever deal we make!!
