Alston is not a bad defender.

Tmac could play good defense when he was determined and healthy. But he is not. His defense has be a disaster these couple seasons.

tmac is easily the better player now than ariza. if he was on good terms with the team, he would be playing big minutes with the way ariza is sucking. but it is what it is.

ariza is a player that management and coaches have done a lot for so he CAN improve. and yet there is no improvement. that is what i'm surprised at.

From the minutes Tmac played this season, he is not that much better than Ariza.

    Next season I don't know.

didnt Dan Langhi go 9 for 9 once? just sayin

bring up conroy. have ariza be a dnp-cd, and yes ariza will want out of town for that, fine with me

give arizas minutes to cbud, give cbuds minutes to taylor and lets see what kind of package ariza+tmac can get us.

as far as whose better tmac or ariza. no brainer. atleast tmac can rebound, create for others and dribble and assist ariza does NONE OF THAT.What ariza does is play the passing lanes gets 1 steal per game takes it the house for a nice jam and everyone thinks hes good defender.

yes i know. It isn't productive to create too much noise about this. But it has to be in the back of many of our minds. Just was a sucky situation all around. Too bad.

Man, CB has such a potential offensively. He can shoot the three, the midrange jumper, drive to the basket, has a high BB-IQ. I finally got the League Pass and saw the last few games and Ariza - dude, I don't mind you shooting open threes if you would at least MAKE them. But it seems that Trevor can't even make wide open threes. CB on the other side really impressed me - at least offensively. Also, Ariza's ballhandling is just not good.
I don't care what promises were mde to Ariza - if he doesn't deserve to be a starter, then you shouldn't let him start. And he himself has to realiza that do. Just look at his shooting percentages -

I would definitely start Budinger over Ariza. Shane didn't disappoint me - he is doing what he can do. If you want him to be a scorer, you are wrong. He does the things that he is asked to do.
