Is it time to draw a line? Do you root for the Rockets only when they win?

I guess I'm a blindly loyal fan. I support them win or lose. I have faith in Rudy cause I saw him do it before. Motivating the players which Rudy is an expert at is more important than x's and o's, even if you assume that it not Rufy's forte.

I'm also an objective fan, if I understand the post. Once we've lost a game like the Chicago game I get enjoyment out of watching the Tierre Brown's the Langhi's (even though I feel he doesn't deserve playing time) and the others. I also enjoyed watching the Chandlers and the Curry's perform during garbage time.

Though I obsess about the Rockets and can't hardly take the off season, I'm always mostly content during the season.

Now, I don't know if I were a pre 2000 Clippers fan if I would have the same attitude.

    Go Rockets.

In addition to Rudy being a great coach, I definitely agree with you here. Rudy is a straight shooter both with players and with the media. I don't think that he knows how to BS, and I respect that. Also, in comparision with Jackson, like you were saying, Rudy doesn't have his ego. Jackson, in addition to his antics, has an ego so large that it seems he will only coach somewhere where he knows that HIS system (the triangle) will work. Even though the Rockets are struggling right now, you have to give Rudy major credit for adapting his system to work for his players, rather than finding players to fit his system. He had great success with the inside-outside game when hakeem was dominant, and we had good three point shooters. Over the few years, we have seen the development of this system to try to best suit the games of his players. It is still a work in progress, but when the team (if they are ever all healthy) starts to gel and the younger guys mature and come into their own, I have confidence that Rudy will have the developed the best system for the players that he has. Plus, not many more coaches are as well respected by the players around the league.

...in the words of DoD: AW, SHADDUP!!!!! (or something like that...)
Everybody, please shut up! shut up! shut up!

...just to clarify my position, I ask for effort, yes I do....and what is wrong with that? just what the hell is wrong with asking for effort from the team I follow?,....and this does not mean if "they win w/o effort that I would be unhappy"...that is a bunch o crappo!

All I ask is they don't give up...If they happen to lose, please don't give up....I've followed the Rockets for years and years...and if I can see anything it is pure, unadulterated 100% grade A effort. Dango you all!!!. ...Furthermore, I don't care how the Rockets win, but if they lose, they lose trying to win......How hard is that to understand? Sorry, but I am slightly frusturated and some dum-dum raised my ire..........
