With Steve Nash the Rockets might be able to actually run a fast break. I would love to see Nash and Boki run a fast break together. Someone like Nash could completely change the structure of the offense. Nash and Yao would make an awesome pick and roll tandem.

Are you just flat out r****ded? Or is this the first year you've followed the Rockets. That's the only way I can make sense of what you said.

Dawson is the one who traded key role players during our championship run for Drexler.
Dawson is the one who traded young talents for an old Barkley, a high risk just to get us back into the Championship
Dawson is the one who worked the Sign-N-Trade with Chicago once Drexler left to try to get over that hump.

One thing CD does not lack, is guts. Check the history.

Yes, I can't understand why in the bloody hell people here want Allen Iverson, of all people. My god, he's basically a Steve clone, except he's given more shot opportunities and has the same desire and lack of brains.

Nash would just keep us in the same no-winning playoff series tradition that he's always been in.

    No.

This team needs more spot up shooters. Francis is not a spot up shooters, he's a dribbler shooter. Rox should try to get TMac OR Iversion or Nash or Sheed Wallace in the offseason. One of those 4 will definitely improve the team. Keep Yao and everyone is tradeable. Get rid of Mo, make Cato come off the bench, get a better back up PG (Mark Jackson is a loser). Move Pikowski back to LA where he belongs, he sucks. Adrian Griffin is not Edde Griffin, get rid of him too. Mobley should be be coming off the bench if Rox get TMAC.

Of course it'd be great to get Nash but we'd have to give up too much to get him and we wouldn't be improving our forwards. It'd be one of those pyrhic victories.

Physical appearences aside (no really), Nash plays so much like Stockton back in the day. I don't hate him nearly as much though. Not yet anyway. Wait until we have to play the Mavs in the playoffs. Then we'll hate him with a passion. "Dirty Nash" they'll say.

    1. TMac
    2. Ray Allen
    3. Elton Brand
    4. Kenyon Martin
    5. Steve Nash
    6. Stromile Swift

I'd be happy if the Rockets are able to acquire any one of the above players in the offseason, depending on the price (contract, players traded, etc.)

In the Dallas Morning News, there's an article that suggests that the Mavs trade Nash and Walker for Francis and Cato, in order to "fundamentally shake up the team".

    http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcon...lishaw/stories/050204dnpocowlishaw.1b381.html

You have to be subscribed, but I actually found it when I was doing a google news search. If you go to news.google.com and type in "steve nash francis" you'll get the snippet about the trade.

I'd do this deal if presented. We'd upgrade the pg position AND move cato's contract for an expiring deal. Then I'd look to turn around Walker's contract to get a big salary guy from a team looking to rebuild, like maybe Marion. With Marion's rebounding ability, he could make up for Mo's lack of boards. Or maybe we can move Cat to Indiana for Harrington, so that we would have a couple of versatile forwards that can play the 3 or the 4.

That sounds good. I would try to immediately trade Walker ofcourse, but still, I would make the deal even if I had to keep Walker.

Maybe we can send Walker to Chicago for Tyson Chandler and Jerome Williams?
