-18 on +/- in 8 minutes doesn't look too hot.

Yes I agree with many of you. He needs some serious coaching and a lot of practice with Mchale. What happened to him? He was a beast at Kansas and a leader. What the hell do they have in Sacramento that makes players play like crap?

Remember how Morris sucked his first start against the Pistons? Everyone just chill out.

well u have to think this way coming from a lazy team where he was not getting proper training to a place where he gets his skills to grow more from one of the person who has played his position is going to take a little time. so just let him have a month or so to get his tune up to his spare parts and then watch him take the ball and run with it. lol. just give him some time.

I'm not saying he isn't good or is a bust like most cynical fans on here are interpreting. I'm just saying his hustle and burst down the court just simply was not there last night (yes even in 8 mins, one can assess hustle)

One of his best attributes on draft day was his willingness to be one of the first down the court. High motor. This aspect of the game is NOT affected by limited minutes or not knowing the system. You either RUN (As he did in all of his highlights in KU) or you DO NOT RUN. Yesterday he simply did not sprint down the court. He was lackadaisically jogging/ power walking. My complaint was on his lack of expected "hustle" that's all. whether he looked lost or didn't play well should not be assessed so prematurely.

Lazy? Hell no. Lost and frustated? Yes.

First thing when he checks in, he gets scored on...next possesion scored on again. You know he wanted to impress us when he checked in for the first time ever so that probably threw him off and put pressure on him. Then rebounds just weren't coming his way, he jumped up 2 times looking for put back's, both times the ball bounced the opposite way. He wasn't in the right position's on O or D and there for didn't defend well, get many rebounds or score.

First game, give him some time to practice, and to get a good game in. So he doesn't feel the pressure of looking bad and being frustated for not being able to show what he think's his true ability's are on his new team.

He didn't look lazy, but he looked like he was out of place & trying to figure it out. The play James got his knee bumped TRob was setting the pick, and about to jump it and roll. Harden limped over & went to the ground.

I don't think he's mature enough to just jump right in, and start filling up the stat sheet. It'll take time for him to adjust.

SMH at the people complaining about TRob. Look y'all (most of you all) wanted an upgrade over MM & Pp; especially bc of their rookie contracts about to run out. So Morey snagged the num 5 pick in TRob, and it was a good move. If we keep him or not it's a good move. Morey knows what's up! I just think it's funny some think TRob has to if. Everything this yr., or he's "gone/not worth it, blah blah, etc.". Give him some time. PP has reached his potential, and was a horrible rebounder.

The trade also doesn't look bad whatsoever since DMo seems capable of feeling in the starting PF spot. Give the new kid some time. He's had a couple practices & just came from a super selfish team. This was a positive move for the future.

People still wanted Thabeet & still do. He was number what 3 pick by Grizz, and he's accomplished nothing! He's playing pretty well on OKC in some time that Thabeet has got.
So TRob doesn't have to "fix it" with 20 so games left!!

He just needs to get better, and jump in and learn!

He did look like he could jump over the entire backboard though. Big time athleticism can't be coached. He looks super bouncy and super strong.

In this particular case, I think T-Jon played himself out of the rotation.

He was given the chance, but have you seen how lost and disinterested he looked on the court the last three times he got minutes? He positively flat out sucked his way to the deep end of the bench.

    :(

He looked lost, which is understandable. I'm a little surprised that McHale put him in the game. But it could be that McHale just wanted to see how he would respond to being thrown out there. If I remember correctly McHale gave TJones some nice minutes a couple of weeks into the season, probably just to see how he would respond. McHale also threw Beverley into the mix almost immediately. The Question I now have is will TRob play any meaningful minutes over the next few weeks. I'd really like to see TJones in there as the backup for a few games. However, we don't see what goes on in practice, so I'll let the coaches make that call.

About as much as you can in 809 minutes, apparently.

This makes tons of sense. We start 2 second rounders and an undrafted player. We traded away 4 guys and gave three of the spots in the rotation to players who were drafted later than they were. Out of all of our rookies, the first one who moved into the rotation was the last one drafted.

But since one high pick got 8 minutes, McHale doesn't trust guy's who weren't drafted high.
