It's you. Kidding but Brooks is sometimes forcing himself through the paint. Not to say that's a bad thing but over the years that should be his main weapon.
I also get the sense that defense is actually better with Brooks. Brooks may get pushed around more, may even get posted up more, and may even be out muscled every night but he puts up a fight. He'll stay with his man on screens and try to deny a shot if the PG has the ball . If he get's beat he'll foul so that there's no easy layup. Rafer on the other hand seems to just let the other PG beat him for easy layups, rarely fouls. Rafer may be better at one-on-one defense but gives up too easily on screens. Brooks just seems to give more effort defensively.
