I would love it if SA won. I know Houston shouldn't root for SA, and especially not for Dallas, but I love what the front office and Pop have done for San Antonio.

From managing minutes to bench depth, SA is definitely a sleeper for the Finals.

Another year where the Lakers/Heat don't win? I'll take it.

Don't think Lakers are able to win it all this year, but Spurs and Celtics are my darkhorses.

Dislike both KG and Duncan, but Duncan is indeed a level above. The biggest thing going against Duncan is that he's not terribly exciting to watch.

Boston fandom? (I think that's "ad hominem" or whatever but we get the point...)

You're saying a player is NOT allowed a high RATING of greatness because he's in another player's "shadow".

People are only saying they can BOTH be great AND rated HIGHLY.

Dr J is in Michael Jordan's shadow. But that does not mean Dr J is overrated in comparison.

No doubt Duncan is one of the most accomplished players ever that might be unmatched for a very long time. There's still cherry picking that can go both ways

    KG vs TD
    14 All stars vs 13
3 time Rebounding champ vs 0
    1 DPOY vs 0
    9 Defensive 1st teams vs 8

Then there's general stats, like KG is a better passer, much better in steals than TD.

Before you wonder, I LIVED IN Tim Duncan's HOMETOWN where there were more Wake Forest jerseys than Jordan jerseys. There should be me giving "Boston fan" effect to Duncan but its not about that.
