Tolbert is no-nonsense. He tells it like it is. Karl is politically correct. I prefer Tolbert. Jeff Van Gundy was never an NBA player. He was no super star player. He did play in H.S. Just because someone doesn't have natural talent, doesn't mean they can't teach the game (or give good analysis). Magic Johnson is a good example of that. He's a great player, but not so good coach. All you have to do is look around the league at the best coaches. They were not great players. They were smart players. Phil Jackson; not a great player, but quick learner. He understood the game.
Hot Rod Hundley, he is especially annoying because I think he is also doing the radio broadcast at the same time. That means he is constantly describing the action in minute detail. That and he can never say the word dribbling. He always has to say, "on the yo-yo".
