Is it fair to judge Morey on wether he hits the "Home Run" or not?

Lebron James is very sturdy. Do you remember the concerns when we traded for McGrady? 'Will he continue to be injury-prone?' And Yao when he was drafted? 'Men his size always have foot problems. See what happened to Smits and Ilgauskas.' And, the people saying those things were right in the end. If James had a career-ending injury, it'd be even worse because we really don't expect it. We expected it with Yao and McGrady; we just didn't know when it would happen. In the case of McGrady, his injury troubles were baked into the price we paid for him. Morey and Les had a couple of offseasons and a couple of trade deadlines to consider getting out when the getting was good. They made a strategic decision to wear the risk. So Morey didn't take a crowbar to his star players but he's still responsible for the loss to injury because he had the opportunity to avoid it.

Hey its a start if he hits this easy single with Asik at least. Then go from there. He is on some sort of slump. First Asik. Then lets see where he takes it form there. Obviously he is not done yet even signing Asik. Thats another roster space filled on a team with too many players. First he has to at least get Asik. Sounds simple right? Nothing is simple with Morey and his hitless streak so far.

Would rather say he brought in the players that got them out of the 1st round ... Ron Artest, Luis Scola for VSpan, Aaron Brooks late 1st round, Carl Landry early 2nd round, and if not for the injuries, that TEAM was a contender.

How biased can someone be to say that the only reason Rockets got out of the 1st round was due to RA, and had nothing to do with the GM putting together the team under limited resources.

Its time to move away from the dream of landing Howard. Let Dragic & Lee go try to bring in young talent or future pick thru sign & trade. Sign Gordon to a max offer 58 mil., Sign Asik and Camby. Trade away Kmart & Scola for youth or future picks or maybe Josh Smith. Then let youth battle for playing time.
