Is it fair to judge Head on how well he matches up with Utah?

Head made bad decisions almost every time he touched the ball in the playoffs. That's the source of the outrage. If all you're going to use to justify that Head only sucks against Utah is shooting %, then you're not going understand why we think the way we think.

It wasn't just his 3pt shooting % that made everyone hate him. He looked completely lost, like he didn't belong there. Dumb passes (nothing to do with Utah's players, that was all on Head), dumb decision making (nothing to do with Utah's players, that was all on Head), etc. Bottom line is he didn't belong there. A healthy Rockets team meant he was going to play very little if at all.

It seems that Luther could play well without playoff's pressure. That's the whole issue.

That isn't something that can be fixed. Just like a player's clutchness, some people have it, some don't.

If Luther cannot deal with playoff pressure, he never can. Playoff pressure is at another level. Sure we might face some weak teams if we make it first or second seed, but when it really counts, Luther won't be there.... at least not when it really really counts (the playoffs).

Again, look at his career numbers against Utah.

That is, his career REGULAR season numbers.

    They are absolutely terrible.

What makes you think it's the playoffs that is causing him to play poorly?

If a player cannot contribute in the regular season against a team - and does the same thing in the playoffs, what makes you think they've choked? Surely they just can't deliver against that team?
