Only if a bad call decides the final bucket in a 1 point game. Even then, it's on the team for having that close a score.

Bad calls had nothing to do with Mike James going 0-5 from the outside or Yao shying away from shooting in the second half.

the over the back calls were the typical home court advantage BS calls, but we lost the game ourselves anyways.

agreed. It wasn't the zebras. It was Jason Terry, terrible defensive rotations, and bad offensive execution. Atleast two of those things are correctible.

So the conclusion is if we play against Dallas during the playoff time, WE NEED HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!!

Not a bad read. On the flip side, we get some calls too. But as was said in the writeup, we STILL had a chance to win that game, just didn't.

Isn't it obvious that the refs were making bad calls against the rockets early and then screwing them late? I am becoming more and more convinced that the nba is rigged.

Teams that are supposed to cover don't and teams that aren't do.

    I'm sure the refs
Were trying to cover the mavs' -5 the whole time.

Its so easy to do this and for refs to influence games. What a joke. Football is harder to influence, but until the nba institutes an effective replay system, there's no reason to think these games are not somewhat rigged.

After all, it is a billion dollar business, sports betting that is.

Naïve fans like you are what the nba depends on. Don't analyze, just assume everything is being called objectively.

Riiiight. Just b/c I don't want to over-analyze the game doesn't mean I'm naive and not looking at it. We made turnovers down the stretch at the worst time. But thanks for talking down to me...what did I do to you ass?

Not to beat a dead horse, but, there were definitely some bad calls, so no callas and plenty of never should have been called...

That being said, calls don't score and play defense...Next time...

there were at least 3 times that Diop went over the back of someone to get a rebound with no call. all were in the 2nd half. looks like the refs put the mavericks win machine in overdrive.
