I was thinking the same thing. Only if one assumes that an armed response is the only alternative, which you keep stating as a given, and I keep claiming that there are alternatives. Regardless, I do not assume that the creation of Israel was justified. Nor the creation of the United States over the ashes of the indigenous populations. Shall we test the justification of every country where immigrants or invaders took control? How many years shall we go back? How many years do immigrants have to be there before they can desire independence for their territory? This opens an interesting area, but I doubt that PhDs could even do it much justice.
