Interesting. It's almost like having other great players and great coaches helps! Who knew?

Shooting the ball well in games depends on who you're playing with and who's the coach

Really has absolutely nothing to do with my argument. Its that primarily elite three point shooters get most of their shots off an assist. Ray Allen is another guy who got most off his threes from assists. Even in his milwaukee days, but I guess his high percentage was due to his great teammates and coaching staff and not his shooting ability.

Air Canada is madly in love with James Harden. There is nothing wrong with someone placing him below the top 5 and in the top 10. Lol

Chemistry was destroyed early on and they never recovered. And what happened to the notion that the Superstar player making his teammates better.

Bad teammates can excuse not winning more, they can't excuse bad defense, lack of effort, turnovers and bad chemistry.

The consensus top 6 is LeBron, Curry, Durant, WB, Kawhi and CP3. Everyone else is on the next tier at best

Edit: I didn't even mention out of shape most of the season

You get no arguments from me. Harden made his bed early on and had to lay in it all season long. But he did try his best to make up for it after the All-Star break. Unfortunately he lost his team.

I believe he will address this season totally different. Which will put him back in everyone's top 5.

Why are you bringing up Klay? Did you follow the conversation? Is Klay the best player on his team? Is Klay the leader of his team? Klay is a mediocre creator and poor ball handler... This is about the Top 5 players in the league... And that was in part gauging the entire offensive ability of Kawhi.

Klay is the byproduct of team and scheme. Guy is like Ray Allen on the Celtics. All he has to do is let others create and catch&shoot.

Do you think Klay would get anywhere close to the same catch and shoot opportunities if he was on Houston in Harden's place? Do you think he'd be as efficient? He's a great shooter playing with MULITPLE playmakers that give him great opportunities, but he's a sub par creator and on Houston without any other playmakers his %s would suffer undoubtedly

You were alluding to Kawhi not being able to create offense for himself then brought up his assist percentage on threes as somehow proof of this, when in reality it's an insignificant stat.

I'm stating facts..... Disprove my points with facts and reasoning. If someone's placing five guys above him, then factually state the aspects in which they are elite or superior.

I said pretty clearly in my post he's a solid creator for himself, but not elite and when I said lead and direct an offense I was talking about him creating for others which is also not his skill... Then I said he's primarily a recipient and not a creator referencing that.... All facts...

If he was a Harden Homer he'd be saying he's Top 1 or 2...

Saying Top 5 is a Harden realist.... Especially if you use facts to make your case.... Saying he's not top 5 without legit reasoning makes one a Harden hater. And no... Saying he plays zero defense is no legit reasoning.
