The Sonics used to play illegal D all the time on Hakeem during the mid 90's playoff runs and take the occasional penalty. Hakeem didn't handle it to well at all. Whereas, it's an everyday thing for Yao to be fronted and have a man behind him, yet he still commands the paint.
Thanks and I believed I have seen a few illegal Ds on Hakeem before. I am actually surprised with Yao performance on the paint even though he has critical limitations in athletism and agility compared to Hakeem. Hakeem is impressive in terms of being athletic, agile and quick. Perhaps Yao was trained and is used to such horrible defensive strategies.
You are the only one who used the term 'racist' here. I said he is a moron to bring race into the discussion. That fool tried to stereotype people from a certain region to be biased and don't have enough basketball knowledge to cast a vote. It is uncalled for and moronic.
LOL, you aren't making the right example, my friend. Try "That's like saying I think Mike Miller is better than Kobe because I am white."
Come on, obviously Mike Miller is better than Kobe, as is Dave Jamerson. He's white and a former Rocket...
Gee, this is a dumb question. I see your stupidity and I raise you one: Is the **** I took last Wednesday funkier than the one I took today??
Watch some videos, Dream was routinely the focal point of the defense. He saw more than his share of double teams.
Uhm..........NO! Two questions...... 1. who gave this dude the right to post new threads? 2. who are the nineteen numb nuts who voted NO?
Please close this thread, my man has obviously not seen Dream play. Dream is damn near better than Yao right now. Did you see him working out against Yao in Oct 07? This thread is like cussing out those of us that hold Dream above all big men.
"IF", if and buts were candy and nuts it would be Christmas. "IF" if and buts were pints fifths we'd be drunk!!! Yao has better shot of leading a chain of restaurants than a chain of titles. This team isn't built to win titles. Check out the 4 remaining teams, athletes at every position and not spot up 3 point shooters.
