But you can get steals instead of blocks, that way the quaudruple double still works.

    1987 Olajuwon, Hakeem 38points 17rebounds 12blocks 7steals 6assist....the closest to a Quintuple-double ever....(not quadruple-double)

    Nuff said

I think Alvin's quad was points, rebounds, steals & assists.

In my honest opinion the Greatest Center in NBA history was Bill Russell AND Wilt Chamberlain. All the stats including head to head show that Wilt was better, but Russell is the ULTIMATE winner in pro sports, and the Greatest Defensive Player of All-Time in the history of the NBA.

    1a. Bill Russell
    1b. Wilt the Stilt
    3. Kareem
    4. HAKEEM THE DREAM
    5. Shaq

The reason I put Hakeem top 5 is because of his dominance and clutchness. Unlike a player like Shaq, Hakeem faced All-Time Great Centers. He destroyed them all. David Robinson (Top 10, 6 or 7 in my list) and Patrick Ewing (Top 10, 8-10 in my list) were both thoroughly destroyed by Hakeem. And they were destroyed when it mattered the most, the playoffs. And let's not forget to talk about Hakeem's skill set. He is probably the most complete center, maybe even player, in NBA history. Hakeem is also the only Center in history to single-handedly lead his team to the Title w/o a superstar at atleast 1 other position. Hakeem is easily one of the greatest players of All-Time.

I cut that pic out of the Chronicle the day after that game which was a Monday.

It hanged on my wall until I got married two years ago and moved out of my parents house!

    Man, I loved that pic!
