I didn't read the entire thread, infact, I don't think I ever clicked on it. I just figured it was another Facebook thread. I decided to skim it to figure out why it was at 7 pages. I don't know where the rivalry between ManRam and you started, but maybe he took a "friendly" jab at you because of your fondness with facebook. I've got nothing against anyone here so it's all good for me. (almost everyone) Have you ever fought ten people in a back alley?
First I wanna address everyone, including, but not limited to, Manny. Asking FFB to stop posting the way he does is ridiculous. It is his boisterous, clamorous, drunken, preposterous and outrageous posts that makes this BBS one of the best ever. OF COURSE he BS'es. Yes, he calls people dumb names. Hell - a few pages back he said he was better than "ALL" of us. Hopefully, you're not in third grade and you realize that when someone says, "yo momma",they're not really talking about your mother. FFB is unique in the sense that, from him, this is something to laugh at, not be offended by. It's another one of those, "Sheesh, shuddup FFB, ya moron" statements that you smile at and enjoy. I'm really surprised by any long-timers here who haven't figured this out yet. And for those who aren't yet familiar with FFB's posts, well, ya just got a lesson on them. Manny You of all people should have realized the above. And you were out of line on different levels. No - he was NOT the only person to complain about your eternal music thread. I complained about it in the feedback section four years ago. And that was quite a fallacy you slipped in there. Just because the forum describes that it's a place to post about many things such as music.... that doesn't directly invite people to create eternal threads about music. Ya know what, though? Clutch lets the thread live. Life goes on. My point is that you can't single out FFB for that, and you shouldn't use that fallacy in your argument. You're better off sticking with crybaby pictures and other such juvenile responses. They seem to be your specialty. Your other attacks on him were flat-out below the belt. Even your apologies since then have been additional jabs at him, his parenting, and his son. You need to leave that alone. That's totally classless. Then you rambled on, babbling something about drinking and driving. You started a sentenced designed to threaten him, and then backed out of it saying "we just won't go there". W T F?!?! Well I really was trying to stay out of this thread but... droxford, Your dog is not in this hunt, dude. But since you made it your business by sticking your mug in it, let me tell you a couple of things. As mentioned at least twice or more in this thread, I do regret getting personal with Fatty. I was sorta in a weird mood when I read his post that was saying he felt sorry for me and my life. But once again, my first post in this thread was said in jest. However, I do understand why Fatty went in the direction he did because the last couple of months, we have had some inflammatory posts towards each other. It is a shame that something that was said in jest (and was obviously a joke) could cause such an explosion in this thread, but then again, I guess that is what a lot of this board "lives for". I'll try to explain this one more time - Fatty has had some things happen to him in his life that weren't pleasant (to put it mildly) and he (whether he should have or not) shared it with the board. It is debateable if that information should be used against him or not and we even had a thread about that (is it okay to use personal stuff against a poster if they had shared it with the board). I know I used to share personal stuff here and it has always burned me. So, I don't try to share too much personal stuff here anymore. I might have mentioned that my baby son was having some issues but that is about the extent of it. At any rate, Fatty has had some stuff that has happened to him that has not happened to me (and hopefully never will). That is all I was trying to say is that I have been more fortunate with my life that I haven't had to deal with some of these things he has. Of course, I didn't really express it in that manner, so when I did say it originally, it made me look like a jackass. But you know what, droxford? Fatty said some things to me, called me a *****ing dbag (or something like that) and we all moved on with our lives in this thread. And I was okay with that because I deserved to be called that by him. Then he went on, in typical FFB fashion (you don't have to give me a lesson on him or how he posts, I could write a book on it) about various other things like money and women and posted a pic of some women (and I'll leave it at that as I don't want to get him upset) that I guess he felt many people here would love to "bang". Well, different strokes for different folks I guess but I'll gladly pass. It is all about lifestyles - Fatty lives a lifestyle that is completely different from me and that is okay. We can rag on each other because of that but things did spiral out of control. Hopefully, we can get that train back on the right track. And I bit my tongue or held back my fingers on the keyboard, mightily on the cat thread when you revealed what you like to do with wandering cats in your backyard. Well, let me tell you something. You are a worthless tool and a turd sandwich to treat an animal, any animal like that, and especially a cat. You have a problem with a neighbor's cat? You go to that neighbor and try to get it resolved. If that doesn't work, you call animal control. You don't appoint yourself to be the judge, jury, and executioner in this situation. And spare me about the "well I feed it and make sure it is taken care of" blah blah spill. The mere fact that you trapped the poor defenseless thing will be something that will traumatize it for the rest of its life. And you thought I was going to threaten Fatty? I can promise you that if I ever saw you do something like that, whether it was my cat or any other cat, I would walk up to you, take that ****-eating grin right off your face by pulling your lips over your head. And after I am done, you won't ever trap another cat or any other animal. So, I guess it is a good thing that you live in TX and I don't. I used to like you droxford and it was because I liked you that I was willing to not say anything about the trapping of cats. Wow Drox.......I think this is getting a little too personal. I agree, that goes for any posts, if you don't like them, or the personality posting them...don't read them....right? Manny's eternal music post is a unique thing on this board, just as Fatty's zanyess. It is part of what makes this place great, we are all one big old dysfunctional family. DD
I'd like to know who Vinsanity was. I always thought he was Desert_Rocket because of this thread, but I'm pretty sure Desert_Rocket was someone else before that and that may have been before my time. Pretty sure it wasn't MEOWGI. MEOWGI came back under another name a while ago and I sort of called him out on it and haven't seen him since. But for some reason, I can't remember what that name was. He showed up in a thread about someone not getting paid from a job and said he'd been through the same situation. I remembered that MEOWGI once started a thread about not getting paid from a job, and put 2 and 2 together. Made a comment about it and never saw him again. Anyway, I'll never understand people getting so personal on this site. I've certainly gone back and forth with many posters here, but I can't imagine ever letting it get to that level. There are several long time posters here who annoy the crap out of me, but it doesn’t matter. That’s what makes this place so much fun. A helluva lot more interesting than associating with the boring duds I work with. If I were to meet Swoly or DD or Fatty or even valerio (from the D&D), I can’t imagine being anything but cool with them. We’re all like siblings who constantly take the piss out of each other because it’s fun – not because we really mean anything by it. I just don’t understand when posters start talking about each other’s wives, children, family…I mean, COME ON.

moe, What do you expect? The guy called me out. I mean what happened earlier in this thread was between me and Fatty. We hashed things out and that was that. I purposely stopped posting in the thread because I didn't want it to continue to escalate out of control. Then droxford comes bebopping along and has to add his 2 cents in after things had pretty much been resolved. I know from close to 10 years of being here that if someone had done that to you, that you would have responded in kind. And honestly, I didn't get personal with him (nowhere close as I did with Fatty) until I brought up his behavior with cats. When you love a creature to the point that you consider it family, you do tend to get a little upset when you see someone else act so awful about it. I am betting that you and finals would be pretty upset if you saw someone like droxford harming or trapping your pet. For some people, messing with their pets is a very touchy thing because these people consider their pets to be their family.
