McClain said he VY was a better than Carr right now, which is a joke. VY might be good eventually, but he is really far behind right now. Very innacurrate and doens't know how to read defenses.
I'd guess that was more of a statement on Carr than saying that VY was going to be pro-bowl caliber this year or anything like that. VY is really not bad - he's basically performing similarly to most top prospect QB's in their first year.

keep sticking your foot in your mouth about vince. its getting funny. you know I don't like tracy mcgrady, but I will never say two things, he is not a good player and he isn't better than francis. I don't what you have against vince, but don't be stupid. to suggest he might be benched for not passing well as a rookie is ridiculous, especially now since I believe he has a winning record as a starter.
What do you think the coaches would say are his limitations? Looks like they let him pass plenty today, and he did much better than a Manning today.
I will FOREVER think the Texans blew it by not taking Young. Hometown hero, once in a lifetime player at the most important position in football. Just amazing that they let him get away. Should have drafted him, picked up Carr's option and let Vince push Carr. Just amazingly stupid. DD
Keep in mind that Carr is probably better than VY now and I think Vince won't be complete until 3 or 4 years down the line.
Vince threw for a career high 289 yards today. Career High. Leinart threw for 405. And Eli Manning threw away a game. Good game today by Vince, but it isn't like he single handidly won the game. Give Eli and Pac Man Jones some credit. I'd still take Cutler and Leinart over VY if we could re-do the draft. Leinart > Young Cutler > Young Bozo the Clown > Carr Carr needs to go. It is time.
I completely disagree that Leinert and Cutler > Young, but the texans should have taken anyone over carr.
