Kinda and sorta also reminds me of John Carpenter's They Live, both these films would make a good double feature.
The former two did it to hedge their bets in the most competitive career in all of human history, the latter to distinguish himself from being a third wheel, and to acknowledge how stupid it would have sounded after Emilio.
The only movie I really liked with him in it was Young Guns part I and II. He had the perfect psychopathic expression to play that the part. "I'll make you famous."
