Is EG's injury a blessing in disguise?

    He had 2 above average games, his last two. On the season he's 38/30/77 shooting with a career-low 2.2 assists and career 3rd worst 2.5 FTA per game. We continued winning without him and even without CP3.

    If Rivers plays 30 minutes off the bench splitting between PG/SG, that leaves 33 minutes at each position for Harden and CP3. If Knight plays 5 minutes, we can even reduce Paul to 30 and Harden to 32, which is excellent. We wouldn't miss Gordon as long as we got a 3&D big forward in exchange. Even assuming he comes back as last season's Gordon, we just don't need it as much as we need to get Tucker some QUALITY help at the 3/4 positions. We need to make House a backup, while Ennis and Clark are backups of backups. That's a real contender. That's a team who, if it adds another buyout candidate, can suddenly endure a 7 game series with the Warriors.

    butler isn't going anywhere this season. if he's on the move, it won't be until the offseason
