I cannot believe that many guys have been busted for hitting a woman. Who raises these idiots?

While channel surfing, I remember listening to some guy with a book out on transgressions by NBA players. He asserted that 40% of all NBA players have felony arrests on their records, and 60% have felony arrests or misdemeanor arrests (for grass, public intoxication, DWI, etc.). I didn't catch his name though.

Jeff Benedict. The book is called "Out of Bounds". It's mentioned in the first article I linked.

The problem is, in addition to EG being a felon, he also quit on his team.

    :)

And they wonder why the NBA fan base has declined...the trailblazers of 2 years ago were an overexaggeration of the problems on every team. Hard for the people that can afford the ticket, to want to go watch bums. And, harder for others to afford the tickets.

It seems like popularity could be growing, but I think that mostly has to do with the European players coming in and the underdog winning. Gotta love when the Lakers lose!

Someone once asked if I could be coach of a team for a day what would I do... I told them I wanted to coach the Rockets for a day and make Eddie and Cato play one on one. Rules being that Eddie couldn't shoot from outside and Cato couldn't dunk. Eddie's shot was flat which made him really streaky but if he could have gotten his demons under control and gotten motivated his defense could have been awesome. He was leading the team in blocks as a rookie...

I dunno, I enjoyed his presence. I'd give him another shot but I'm stubborn that way.
