Drummond? Yes Cousins? Sure, even though he got owned last game and isn't good so far this year. Dwight is better than everyone else on that list.
Playoff Dwight is top 3 center. Regular season Dwight is a top 10 center. Because based on production there are centers who do better than him now.
RiceDaddy your kids maybe smart but you don't seem to know much about basketball... Yes DH is a top 10 center. LOL he is still top 5 easily. Howard has never been an elite offensive player, but he has been and still is an elite rebounder. Defensively he is still top 5. He is an efficient scorer, and most importantly if you need one stop on defense he is still one of the best at getting that stop vs. good offensive players. Drummond is having his first really good season and I say an argument could be made that he might be on Howard's level. Drummond's 18ppg isn't that impressive since it comes on 15 shots a game. A healthy Howard with his experience would have my vote. Cousins is super talented, he can be more bone headed than DH. Cousins is the better offensive talent but he did just get throttled by DH. Cousins is even worse in efficiency than Drummond. Cousins 25ppg come at a cost of 20 shots. Howard is still the better rebounder and rim protector. All things equal for this season and both healthy I'd stick with DH but Cousins might be the better overall player at the end of their careers. He is already a top 3 center. Okafor.... REALLY the guy has 157 rebounds and 337 points in his career as a 76er! NOT in DH's league. He has top 10 talent but got prove it first. Pau Gasol had a nice season last year as a PF. Yes he can and does play center. He has great touch. He is a crafty scorer and takes good care of the ball. I like his game (but can't stand to watch the former LA FAKER) if he is a center I think he falls off as a defender/rebounder but no doubt he is a better offensive player than DH. An argument can be made if the Rockets would do better with him at center but I think Howard is the better fit. Karl-Anthony Towns... same Okafor. Prove it for a full season and win some play-off series first. Greg Monroe is a decent player but he can't lockdown the paint like DH for even 3 possession's a game . Monroe will never be elite at anything. I don't know if he is even top 10. Al Horford is a good score like many on your list. While his defense is better than most on your list he isn't as strong as DH as a defender. Rebounding really falls off with Al. You can make an argument for Al as top 4-7 but not clearly better as a player. Al Jefferson another decent player but not elite at anything. Poor rebounder, in 12 seasons he has averaged double figures 4 times. No thanks I'll take DH over Al. Hassan Whiteside is still raw. He still hasn't played more than 48 games in a season at 26 years old. He is a monster protecting the rim. Offensively he is similar to DH. Whiteside falls off when it comes to having a nose for the rebound. He has a good future but DH still wins my vote for the player for this season. Whiteside could finish as a top 3-5 center this year. DeAndre Jordan is a DH clone. Rebounding/dunking machine. Only real offense play is pick in roll but he is VERY effective with Clippers. He is a worse FT shooter than DH! Jordan is a no doubt top 3 center. He has been on DH level for last few years. On health alone he has been the better player. Watch some games, do some research before posting this silly question.
We all remember him dominating Cousins, but don't forget he also had that 20/20 game going up against Deandre Jordan (who had 11/14).
other than Drummond and cousins... there is no center on this list that is better than Dwight right now... I'm still LOLing at Monroe being on this list
Hence the word 'might'. Have them both shoot 15-16 footers in-game, and I'd guess they'd be equally crappy.
