Warriors prior to Durant arrival lost to Cavs in the finals. Cavs were down 3-1. Durant was suspended one game......(not 3 games). Durant carries them to two championships; but criticized for riding the coattails of Curry/Draymond/Klay. LeBron joins Lakers in hopes of bringing a franchise up from the depths of mediocrity to championship contender. Just like he did with Cavs after Miami. Only problem is LeBron needs stars with him as opposed to young inconsistent rooks. Kawhi supposedly wanted to be in L.A.; but does not necessarily wants to lay with LeBron....willing to join the Clips or possibly stay with the Raps. Durant would not mind joining LeBron in L.A. as a Laker. The both could use each other to succeed. Both claiming to be the reason for success. Both want to reside in California. Warriors probably can’t afford Durant and keep the team together. Charles Barkley also talked about this during the halftime of the Warriors/Rockets game (beatdown). He said that the Warriors will be a good team without Durant....just not a great team anymore. Houston probably has an 8% chance right now due to his friendship with Harden. But money will be an issue much like with the Warriors. Rockets with probably need to trade Capela for nothing...... thus the “Get Hartenstein ready to take over the starting center role by season’s end” gig right now. Hartenstein contract being cheaper than Capela’s moving forward.....plus Hartenstein can shoot 3-pointers which opens up the offense even greater. You never know. If Clark and Hartenstein keep improving.....a lineup of CP3/Harden/Durant/Clark/Hartenstein could be appealing to Durant. That bandwagonin’ thing might be an issue though.......joining an all ready great team.
Really don't want Durant, even though he is the best player in the NBA. Nobody can impact a team like he can, not even the other NBA jerk, LBJ. I used to be Durant's biggest fan, but his attitude has greatly deteriorated.
Forget KD, Draymond is where its Agree, Draymond was right. I would rather Rockets beat the team he goes to than him join Houston.
Heh, I've been on and off the fence with my criticisms of KD. I do side with it being a weak move to have gone to the warriors, but I can't deny that they absolutely needed him to beat Lebron/Kyrie's cavs (Draymond is stupid for saying otherwise as THE guy who recruited him right after they got destroyed). However, I always thought KD would look great in a Rockets uniform alongside Harden.
