He is not worth the max

Most of his offense comes from open looks (all the attention curry and thompson get)

Defensively he is really good but again not worth the max

No but I bet he gets it...

There is more money out in the NBA than there is talent to take it... some folks who don't deserve to get paid will (we've already seen it recently with Parsons)

Hell no he's not worth the max, but he'll probably get it because this market is so screwed up.

He's only shooting 33% from long range and most of his attempts are uncontested.

Green is a very good, versatile defender who's stats have bumped up to 12/8 this year and he plays team ball.

    Not worth the max.

I don't think the Warriors will be able to keep him past next season.

No way. Tweener forwards are easier to find. Only young wings or big men will get those not-yet-earned max contracts.

That's not to say he's not a good player, but he won't be getting the max.

He will get payed this summer and a garbage team like Detroit or philly will sign him and realize they have another Josh Smith. Granted it wasn't all Smiths fault for there troubles simply because smoove was being asked to do more than he knew. Green on the other hand can do more but not an all star player type of production

If Parsons can get the max so can Green. I say why not

He is an absolutely devastating defensive player, he should be a strong DPOY candidate.

Offensively he is solid rebounder and a capable shooter. He probably won't get the max, but he's gonna get a lot closer than people think

    This.

How soon people forget about the horrific contract Chicago gave Ben Wallace, once upon a time.

It's laughable how everyone thinks they are max guys.

Has more blocks this season than Dwight Howard, Tyson Chandler, and Demarcus Cousins.

    But the answer is no

I hope he does. That would mean he will be on another team next year, making GSW a lot worse.

Yeah I saw that stupid stat last night on the ESPN broadcast. No mention that Dwight and Demarcus have been out a ton of games while Green has played every game this season. Tyson Chandler not having as many blocks is embarrassing for him though.
