Is Dragic a top 5 pg?

I'm thrilled Dragic is playing so well, and I'm excited about his potential future with the Rockets, but this isn't even conversation worthy. Let's check back in a few years.

 

I never labeled Dragic as a top 5 pg but I am calling you out for calling our wins that counted the most "flukes" which they were not because believe it or not this team is pretty good.

I went on some laker forums and they were saying that they don't want to play the Rockets in the 1st round.

 

I bet OKC doesn't either.

 

So i am not allowed as a Rockets Fan to disagree with anybodys opinion. Just because i say Dragic is overhyped, doesnt mean i am saying he is a bad player. Their are a lot of NBA Players that are overhyped to me. To me i think Luol Deng is overhyped, so is Brandon Jennings, and a few other like Danilo Gallinari( especially after tha Carmelo trade). That doesnt mean i am saying that they suck

 

Either of those teams beat us in a 7 game series. Although with Dalembert and Camby we wont be overmatched on the boards, like in the past. But we will lose

 

No you are allowed to argue but some of the things you say are very
anti-rockets.

 

They are the favorites in a 7 game series, but nothing is guaranteed in this league. We have a good, fighting chance, and that is enough to make those teams' fans very uncomfortable. You want a gimme in the first round, not a team which has already beat you multiple times.

Goran is not being overhyped. He is currently playing as good as any player is playing in the NBA.

 

Calling ppl crazy for their thinking of a player sure is immature.. If you think Rondo ISNT a superstar you dont know basketball.. If ur trying to push Dragic as a top 5 guard even as a 'small sample size' is foolish and homer-ism at its finest. Somebody needs to delete this slanted thread

 

I think everyone agrees Dragic isn't a top 5 pg but that doesn't mean if he won't be if he continues playing this kind of basketball.

Dragic is a solid player, but he isnt the main reason why the Rockets are winning, which is where the Steve Nash and the CP3's of the world are the main reason. Those are the top 2 PG's in the league... and their is no one close


I mean if you take Dragic out and put in Lowry their is little too no dropoff. How can you be a Top 5 PG, when their is a PG on your team arguably and most would say better. Like i said Dragic is a good solid player. But when people start saying he is a Top 5 PG, thats where the overhyping begins. Hell i also think Roy Hibbert is a tad bit overhyped. And that Josh Smith is the most underrated player in the NBA

Dragic is the most underrated starting PG in the game, methinks.
